Nikolas sighed as he watched Gia once again walk away from him to go check on her mother. He knew that she was having a hard time dealing with her mother’s expectations but he just couldn’t get her to open up. He didn’t understand why she couldn’t feel comfortable enough to talk to him, but he knew that would come with time. Nikolas started to leave to get some coffee when he ran into Liz and Lucky.

“Hey Nikolas, why are you here? Now that Emily is back home there really isn’t any reason to be at the hospital.” Liz asked with a slight smile curved towards Lucky’s face.
“I’m here with Gia, I offered to give her a ride home after she finished visiting her mother in the hospital” Nikolas replied he felt something strange pass over him it was like he was finally letting go of a part of his life. That was when Nik realized he was no longer jealous of Lucky for having Liz. I mean sure he would love to have a relationship like theirs but he no longer cringed when he saw Lucky and Liz hug or smile at each other.

Gia came to a halt as she walked back to Nikolas. She hated when the rest of the Scooby gang just showed up she always felt so out of place. Like she would never be accepted. Nikolas was different from the rest even though he was rich and privileged she felt like he understood where she was coming from when she talked about her mothers high expectations. Gia took a deep breath and continued her stride over to Nik, Liz, and Lucky she couldn’t hide forever she really needed a ride home. Anyway's Lucky wasn’t all that bad and she had heard from one of the people that worked at the PC Grill that Liz used to be the bad girl in town and that was definitely something she wanted to hear more about, anyway's it was time for her to make some friends in her new town.
