Goku is the hero of DragonBallZ. Ever since the beginning he is the strongest good guy on the show and there always is a tougher opponent. He is fast and when in trouble he can shoot beams or get mad and power up.
Early on when he gets killed the first time by Piccolo (his arch enemy) he goes to the powerful martial arts trainer King Kai. Later on after he gets wished back by the Dragon Balls he unleashes a secret power never seen for 1000 years.......The ability to move faster than a enhanced sayian eye can detect.... He becomes a...SUPER SAYIAN!

Gohan is the first son of Goku and Chi-Chi. Because of his protective mother he starts out as a wimp. But when his fater is in trouble he showed his true sayian blood and powered up to weaken the powerful Radditz. But after he returns to being a wimp untilthe fate of the earth rests on him he gets trained by Piccolo. Then Becomes one of the strongest. During his training he transformed by the light of the full moon to become a huge ape with his power times 10! But then Piccolo destroyed the moon. After he Travels to namek to get Dragon Balls to wish back his fallen freinds he becomes more and more powerful.

Piccolo starts of as the arch enemt of Goku but after they team up to face evil they become freindlier. Piccolo takes it upon himself to train Goku's son Gohan for the arrival of the sayians who want to take the Dragon Balls to wish for immortality. He is known for his ability to split into three or four different bodies. However once he dies on earth his other self cannot live and as the creator of the dragon balls dies so do they.

Krillin is Goku's best freind since they trained as kids under Master Roshi. Krillin is always telling jokes to lighten the situation. Because he is an earthling he is not as strong as the saiyans like Goku. But don't think he is weak, he has saved Goku and earth when the saiyans attack. Plus his destructo disk can slice through and blow up mountains!

Yamcha is a strong warrior with a good spirit and always helps out his freinds. For example when the saibamen attack he volunteers instead of Krillin because Krillin has been brought back by the dragon balls once and can't be again. He is hapy to train to save earth even though the odds don't look good. He is afraid of women and because he stood up Bulma because he was out of money he is afaid to go out again. He is usually with Puar his cat-like freind. He is an all around great help.

Tein has three eyes and is a very strong fighter. He can split into 3 or 4 different Tiens when fighting and shoot powerful energy bombs. When he traveled back in time at Kami's lookout he wasn't afraid to give his all after two of his freinds were easily defeated. His best friend is Chaiotzu and they can communicate telepathically. He is brave and a strong fighter.

Chaiotzu is a very short but unselfish fighter. He doesn't hesitate to try a suicide mission to save the earth and his freinds. He is a devoted compain of Tien and they can communicate telepathically. Although he ma have been afraid of strange dangers before training he is very brave after training from Kami.

Yajirobe is a fat, weak, timid, slob!! He almost NEVER fights and is almost always running or eating!
In the pendulum room he wont fight and just eats instead of training! And in the Vegeta Nappa battle until his fat consience caught up with him he just ran away! No wonder he has never died... he has never fought! The only decent thing he has ever done (besides eat all the food so others can diet) was cut off ape Vegeta's tail! He even critsizes the other fighters when he wont fight himself!

Nail is the Namek gaurding and tending the eldest of all Nameks and the father of all Nameks Guru. After he gets his power strenghtened He becomes an excelent fighter. After he merges with Piccolo he becomes ultra powerful. He is also willing to do whatever it takes to keep the dragon balls from falling into the wrong hands.

Now I know some of you are getting all confused about why I put Vegeta in the good guys section. But the answer is as you may have hoped....He becomes a good guy! Vegeta is a ruthless killer as he tried to take over earth but underestimated earths special forces and never succeded. Then after being rejuvinated he heads for the Namekian dragon balls and there encounters Frieza and is forced join forces with the good guys to have a chance at taking Frieza on.

Dende is a young Namek.His family was killed by Freiza's henchmen for the dragon balls but Krillin and Gohan save him and bring him to their hideout. Then they bring him up to date on their mission. He aqquires the gift of healing which comes in handy many times and later on ends up becoming the gaurdian of earth. Back To Top
Frieza is the supreme evil in the universe. No other power came even close before Goku. His name strikes fear in others hearts when his ruthlessnes is remembered.He knew of the saiyans power to get really strong when healed after being beaten up so he destoyed their home planet Vegeta with one powerful energy blast.

Zarbon and Dodoria make up Frieza's main henchmen. Zarbon helped Frieza teroriza and kill many Namekians to get the Dragonballs. The first time Zarbon fought Vegeta he had to change form and then he won. But because of a saiyans ability to become as strong or stronger than the opponent that beat them after healing Zarbon wasn't so lucky the next time.

Dodoria was Frieza's other evil henchmen that helped with everything that Zarbon did. However Dodoria had no second form to battle Vegeta with and lost badly the first fight and Vegeta killed her.

Nappa was Vegeta's assistance on their journey to earth. They came to earth for the Dragonballs to wish for Immortality. They thought it would take a few days when in fact they never succeed. Nappa did most of the fighting after the saibamen and he proved more than a match for the Z fighters. He defeaed Chaiotzu and Tien.
Goku took him out with a power burst from KaioKen.

Radditz is Goku's evil brother. He tells Goku about his mission and the fact that Goku is a saiyan. Radditz proved more than strong enough for both Goku and Piccolo. But in the end Gohan greatly weakened Radditz and Goku held him and Piccolo's special Beam cannon killed them both.

The Saibamen are the plant creatures that Nappa and Vegeta planted for the Z fighters to handle. Yamcha was killed by one. Krillin kiled most of them but when Vegeta grew tired he killed them off.

Recoome did the fighting when Vegeta, Gohan and Krillin tried their luck......... and lost miserably. But then came the all powerful Goku who took him down with one hit and healed all the Z fighters.

Guldo was the weakest (and i do mean weak, he could hardly form energy) of the Ginyu force. The reason he made it into the Ginyu Force is because he has the ability to freeze time. He was the first to fight and he almost speared Krillin and Gohan but Vegeta took him out with one finger beam.
