Meg and Ben married.

It turned out Meg had a deadly disease which she knew about a long time without telling anyone. She finally died two weeks after the showīs finale (in Januray). Ben was crushed and sought comfort in Annie who became pregnant with his child. She told Jude everything and they broke up. Annie was on her way to tell Ben about their baby when she was in a smaller car crash. She lost the baby and was devastated. She didnīt know if she should tell Ben about the miscarriage or not and finally decided that he had the right to know. But when she got to Benīs house she saw him crying over Meg that she decided that it would only bring him more pain to know that he also lost a baby and she couldnīt do that to him. So she went home and packed her things and left Sunset Beach for Los Angeles where she had once lived, but as her other name - Morgan. (Her full name is Anna Claire Morgan Douglas). It was to painful for her to stay in Sunset Beach.
Gregory was in jail for shooting Francesca, but he didnīt do it... He took the blame to save Caitlin who he thought was the real killer thanks to A.J who is the real killer. A.J hates Gregory and wanted to get rid of him to have Olivia for himself. Since Olivia still had feelings for Gregory he had to get rid of him and make Olivia hate him. So he planted the murder weapon in Olivias house so she could discover it and realise someone planted it there. Since Olivia and Gregory fought each other for the custody of Trey, A.J knew Olivia would suspect Gregory for planting the gun in her house to make sure he got Trey. Then he made Gregory believe that Caitlin was the killer. And since Gregory loves Caitlin and would do anything for her, A.J figured Gregory himself would take the blame for the murder. But his plan failed. When Gregory and Caitlin talked in prison it bacame obvious to Gregory that Caitlin didnīt do it. It didnīt take him long to figure out who tricked him... So Gregory told Jude his suspicions and Jude found evidence pointing at A.J and arrested him. A.J tried to lie his way out but he mixed up his own lies and had to confess. Gregory was set free and he and Olivia confessed their true feelings for each other and finally got back together.
Sean forgave his father and their relation became more civil. Sean and Emily was still in love.
Cole and Caitlin had their problems and Caitlin blamed Olivia. She started feeling it was Olivias fault she couldnīt have babies and she couldnīt bring herself to love Trey now that she knows it is Coleīs and Oliviaīs son.
Casey and Sara also had their problems after Megīs death. Casey greaved Meg more than Sara though was normal and Casey couldnīt understand why Sara didnīt feel more sad that her sister died. But they stayed together.
Maria and Ross broke up after Maria caught Ross in bed with her friend Vanessa.
Vanessa cheated on Michael with Ross once but they worked things out and are still married with a baby on the way.
Joan and Hank bought a new farm, this time in McCook, Nebraska.
Gabi moved to Clarksburg, West Virginia. There she met a man and married him before discovering that she was a lesbian. Later she met the love of her life - Sarah. She and Sarah lived happily ever after.
Ricardo and Antonio made up. Antonio resigned from the priesthood after discovering Paula Stevens (Ricardoīs ex-fiancee). They married and moved to New York. Paula became an actress and she can be seen in the soap All my children.
Ricardo fell head over heels in love with nurse Stacey after she rescued him from almost drowning.
Carmen became famous when she got her own column in the USA today. She is now a very famous fortune-teller.
Bette broke up with A.J after learning that he killed Francesca. She is currently on her way to marry another man. Her soon to be 8th husband - Bill.
Elaine moved back to Sunset Beach only to find out that A.J is alive and in prison. She went to visit him and they fell in love.
Tyus married Virginia after she was released from the mental hospital. She is doing great and has no more obsessions with Michael or Vanessa.
Tess is in jail still and her sentence was 2 years in prison.
Amy and Brad became a couple. They had triplets.
