After a visit to Mexica, my father was so impressed with the people and the culture, that he decided to learn Spanish. He enrolled in night classes along with my mother. She went on to gain a University degree while he set out to make as many Spanish speaking friends as possible.

He was a gregarious man, hospitable to a fault and became one of North America's leading experts on the Art of Bull Fighting. Here he and my mother are at a celebratory dinner afer a Corrida de Toros.

My beloved father's legacy was a wealth of friends, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He taught us to respect other cultures, to seek after learning no matter where it was, to be a faithful friend and most of all, to trust our intuition. He loved books and my best memory of hin was in the old rocking chair with his nose stuck in one. Prehaps that one of the reasons, mine is as well.
So my dearly cherished father, you taught me much, loved me well and I miss & love you.
