When all others sport a frown
you're always there,
you don't put me down

has been too much,
your gentle ways,
have a magic touch.

You never rush me,
in any way

to hear out
the things
I need to say.

When tears flow
when times seem unfair
you reach out to me
and show you care.

For you are my best friend
my guiding light,
The harmony and peace
that soothes all strife
