I would surmise that this creature is a kelvinase based gaseous lifeform. Doug Gillard: A gaseous creature that can take solid form? James Morrow: I couldn't begin to guess as to their physiological makeup. Whatever the chief medical officer was doing to this creature, he must have been going about it the wrong way.
