Family:Family were refugees aboard the S.S. Lakul. The Lakul was destroyed in 2293 on its journey to Earth by the Nexus energy ribbon, but not before he and his parents were rescued by the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-B along with 44 other passengers. His sister was not aboard either of the transports, but was not on El Auria at the time of assimilation.

Annoyingly happy or 'peppy' people. Institutions or forces that have control over him. The Ferenghi, and people who don't show others respect. Pet peeves: Tomatoes. Ridding in transport craft when not at the helm.
Strengths: Was in both the Rugby and Shooting squads at the Academy.
Has a high pain threshold.
Tends to think things through before making any descision or action, but when forced to be he is extremely impulsive.
Limitations: He has shown impetuousness and is very stubborn. When forced to make decisions quickly he often takes the fastest or easiest route. Although not quick to openly show his temper, he often broods over it and when released it gets him and others around him into serious trouble.
Skills: El-Aurians appear to have an awareness that supersedes the normal flow of time and space, and while they might not be capable of explaining their sensing abilities, they detect time changes that would be impossible for nearly all other species to pick up.
Ambitions: To experience as much of the universe as possible, by learning, listening and changing careers every few decades. The wish to do this seems inherent to almost all El Aurians.
He has expressed a wish to get vengeance against the Borg, or at least gain inner peace over them.
Quirks: Rubs the old break in his right hand when thinking, and he furrows his brow when annoyed. Is extremely sarcastic.
Has a morbid fascination with death. Shows little remorse.
Most of the time he is a quiet brooding character, but in certain situations he can be overly ggressive, loud and angry. Though these situations are rare they are impressive. Rarely shows emotion apart from annoyance.

The one overriding selfless urge he has is to find his older sister, who was away from El Auria at the time of his homes assimilation.

Starfleet Record:
Nengaur had a difficult time with several instructors at the academy, and also several pupils. On more than one occasion he either started or finished fights with members of the school, he was involved in a prank war with a neighbouring dorm which resulted in the death of pig which had been left in a closet; was notorious for being late with his work and managed to reprogram the transporters to filter out users clothing. He and his associates were suspended several times and were nick-named "The Animal House."
As well as taking the fundamental courses, Himdraug took a variety of courses which generally centred about Tactical operations and Engineering systems as well as Advanced StarShip Operations. He also gained a degree in Particle Physics.
Apart from the close group of friends he had, Nengaur did not happily socialise with the rest of Academy. He was fiercely loyal to his comrades and would defend them whenever it was required, be it from strict instructors or arrogant cadets.
Personal History:
When his home was destroyed by the Borg he was twelve, the El Aurian equivalent of a toddler. Somehow, his parents and himself along with around 300 other El Aurians made it to the Alpha Quadrant aboard two transport ships (it is theorised that El Aurians have micro-wormholes or some other Transwarp technology), where they were ultimately destroyed by a naturally occurring energy ribbon.
After their daring rescue by the Enterprise-B, the family settled in Melbourne on Earth. Himdraug went through standard schooling, but also was taught heavily by his parents and the adopted family of the other El Aurian refugees. At the age of 54, he left Earth and explored the galaxy. Starfleet has little information on his activities at the time, although there were several unconfirmed sightings.
On his return to Earth he joined StarFleet Academy. Due to his personality and several incidents, he was kicked out in his second year and then rejoined to finish his courses the next year he was elibible.
