NPC Rules

All players whose PC have living relations that will be staying with them on board the USS Charleston will have to submit a NPC biography. The fields required for a NPC bio are marked by blue***. A NPC is controlled by the player who submitted the bio. The GM reserves the right to use NPCs to further the story plot, even if it requires that the NPC be killed.


NPCS

NPC Generation: Every player will be allowed to create NPCs for the ship, to be used by the GM to help in PC character development. The number of NPCs that a player can create is dependent upon the character that the player PC's rank. Rank qualifications will be allowed on the following basis.

PC Ensign: May create 1 NPC within their department and one outside of their department.

PC Lt.(jg) and Lt. : May create 2 NPCs within their department and 1 outside of their department.

PC Lt. Commander and up: May create 2 PCs within their department and 2 PCs outside of their department.

NOTE: The GM reserves the right to utilise the NPCs for action exclusively. No players may use an NPC for an action sequence as opposed to their own PC. The GM also reserves the right to utilise any NPC to develop plots or subplots, even to the ends of possibly having to 'kill off' or injure the NPC. Players ARE allowed to utilise NPCs for their own character development.
