Almost every Star Trek fan has seen "The Next Generation". For many it's even their most treasured of all the Star Trek incarnations. With Pockets books continuing only to publish TNG books set during the NCC-1701-E days and during the gap between Insurrection and Nemesis, my friends and I thought it would be cool to take "The Next Generation" to that next level. And tell the story of what might happen to the Enterprise and her crew after the events of "Nemesis".

Now you may think: "You can't have anymore TNG! All the characters are gone!" Well that may be true: Deanna and Riker may have gone to the Titan, Data maybe no longer with us, Worf maybe still tending to his ambassadorial duties on Qo'noS and Dr. Crusher may be on Earth at Starfleet Medical, but the ship, the Captain, and the belief in exploration remains. However, we didn't just want to tell the story of the Enterprise's further adventures. We wanted to explore how our favourite characters are doing in their new homes. ~Thomas Fenton |
