The Negh' Var Class was Battleship was developed in the early 2370s as a new Imperial Command Ship. The Negh'var became the flagship of the Klingon Defense Force in 2372. This ship is the first to be commissioned and saw its first mission as the command for the Cardassian invasion. The Negh'Var was also used in several battles defending DS9 from the Dominion. The armament on board consists of twenty ship mounted disrupters; one large forward disrupter; four torpedo launchers. This ship was designed to over power the Romulan D'deridex class warbird as the aging Vorcha was not a fair match in a one on one situation. this ship has a maximum cruising speed of warp 9.6 and can carry 2500 warrior, consisting of crew and troops. The Negh' Var is larger than a Galaxy Class Federation Starship. Over a dozen Negh' Vars are believed to been built to date, an doubt more will follow.
