  • Height: 5'4" [1.62 meters]
  • Weight: 110lbs. [41 kilograms]
  • Physique: Thin and lithe; as a pseudo-mammalian, she possesses only a few mammalian characteristics.
  • Eye Color: Yellow-Green
  • Hair Color: None; D'Lynn has no hair
  • Skin Color: Rust-red scales
  • Physical Description:
D'Lynn is fairly typical in build and frame of her species. She possesses somewhat reflective reddish rust-brown scales, no hair and brilliant jade-green eyes. Her body is quite lithe and flexible, her fingers are long, slender and expressive. D'Lynn, when not in uniform, dressed very conservatively- usually an unrevealing silver-metallic bodysuit that covers most of her body. This helps to warm her since Xyrillians are pseudo-mammalian and have less temperature tolerance than most mammalian beings.
  • Personality:
When on the job, D'Lynn is usually very professional, although a bit casual. She prefers an air of comfort and ease, as long as the job at hand is completed. She has a curt but kind way of speaking. She is direct, honest but also playful- a master of the constructive critique. When off duty, she is quite playful and sociable. She enjoys being with other people with like-minded ways of doing things. She is somewhat of a pacifist and sees very little point to confrontation. Xyrillians, by nature, are quite peaceful and do not fight unless it is absolutely necessary and even then, many resort to protest rather than bloody conflict. D'Lynn is of the former camp- she can fight when she must, but usually only to escape or stun.

  • APTITUDES & QUIRKS
  • Quirks:
After several weeks of conditioning, D'Lynn was able to enter a ship with Federation Standard Atmosphere, although she often finds it quite "dull". (Xyrillians have better senses when in their natural environment). Xyrillians do not need water in the traditional sense, but instead ingest cubes of solid nutrient. All over D'Lynns quarters grows a strange type of plant that she will regularly eat. When touching D'Lynn, one often gets a strange, tingling sensation as if touching her creates a mild static field (alot of Humans say its enjoyable, actually).
  • Hobbies:
The Holodeck. D'Lynn enjoys spending time visiting various alien landscapes and viewing various spatial phenomena. She also collects cultural symbols (loves collecting masks). When not in the holodeck, she enjoys light jazz or kepeh (Xyrillian jazz basically). She is a fair dancer and enjoys it on occasion. She, most of the time, enjoys socializing.
  • Ambitions:
D'Lynn is not sure yet if she is a "career soldier" or just using Starfleet as a means to discovery. In all likelihood, she will eventually retire her commission and continue as a Civilian Scientist. D'Lynn has no aspirations of command but will instead take her hard-earned skills aboard a Xyrillian science ship. This likely course of action is also brought out by a desire to have children and to return to her people (there are very few Xyrillians in Starfleet).
  • Likes:
D'Lynn is fascinated by the Human desire to explore. There are few others that possess it with the same fervor and Xyrillians are one such group. D"lynn is a "Virgin to the Human Condition" and is experiencing the Human environment and society for the first time. D'Lynn is not above a stupid and crazy thrill seeking venture, but her regular hobbies are fairly sedentary.
  • Dislikes:
D'Lynn does not like chocolate or anything that Humans may consider sweet. To the Xyrillian tongue, it tastes alot like eating salty, gooey chalk. D'Lynn has surrendered to the fact that Human (and most other species foods) are completely out of her pleasure zone. Alien foods are not enjoyable to her in the slightest.
  • Strengths: She seems to have a knack with understanding the dynamics of space. She is also very patient.
  • Weaknesses: She is a pseudo-mammalian, so she doesn't possess an endothermic system. She is very vulnerable to temperatures and pressures. She is most comfortable in her own environment. In a normal environment, she has the equivalent of red-green color blindness.
