Education: K-12, Star Fleet Academy
Service Record/Career History: Stationed at Deep Space 5 after graduating Star Fleet Academy. Stayed there for a year, then transferred to USS Southern Cross when given the chance.
Promotion History: Toward the middle of his time on DS5, he was promoted to Lieutenant, junior grade. Demoted to Ensign for striking a superior officer.
Personal History: Born on Earth in the city of Seattle. He was the only child from your average one parent family. His mom, who was half-Betazoid, worked with a diplomat, and was gone a lot. His father, mostly Human (about 1/8th Klingon) left the family when Alacard was still young. He couldn’t control his anger, and realized if he didn’t leave he might end up hurting Alacard or his mom. Alacard ended up staying with his Grandma a lot. She babysat him while his mom was away. His grandma was 100% Betazoid. Alacard loved his Grandma a lot, although she always caught him when he was lying. His Grandmother taught him to use his limited Betazoid powers. Alacard was always popular in school because of his ability to read peoples emotion and react to them accordingly. In middle school, he saw a shy little girl who was sitting in the back of the room. He was 13, she was 12 (she skipped a grade). Her name was Saeeda Raje. He made her laugh, and they became good friends. When his mother died in a ship explosion, he moved in with his Grandmother. He was 14 at the time. The loss of his mother hurt him deeply. Although she wasn’t always there for him, he cared for her. Alacard slipped into a deep depression that even his grandmother couldn’t help him. He stayed in his room for long hours reading whatever books he could get his hands on. He became interested in philosophy and martial arts. Dedicating all of his time into this, his grades dropped. He got into a lot of fights at school, and was suspended more than once. Saeeda was always there for him though. She tried to encourage him to stay in school, and at least get passing grades, which he managed to do. About a month after his 18th birthday, Alacard came home one night to find a couple of robbers in his house. After leaving them bleeding, they ran away. Alacard went to his Grandmother, who was attacked by the robbers. Using her last minutes of life, his grandmother placed her hands of Alacard’s head, and telepathically transferred what Alacard would later swear to his closest friend Saeeda was piece of mind. She understood she was going to die, and she had made piece with that. She wanted to make sure Alacard understood that. After his Grandmothers funeral, Alacard swore to make something of his life. He got straight A’s in his classes despite the fact he slacked off for years before. With a meager 2.5 GPA, Alacard couldn’t get into any good colleges. Feeling hopeless, he was going to accept an invitation to a lesser college when Saeeda told him that Star Fleet Academy was accepting applications for students interested in Security. He applied and took the entrance exams. To his surprise, they accepted him. Also attending the same academy was Saeeda to his pleasure. They had hardly any classes together as they were in two different programs. Alacard’s scores were little above average, but he excelled in combat and strategy. Graduating after 4 years, he was stationed at Deep Space 5. He was promoted to Lieutenant, junior grade for excellent service in under a year. About 6 months after his promotion, he got in a fight with the Deputy Security Officer. Officially the officer, who was a Klingon intimidated by Alacards fighting skills, stuck first. Alacard ignored the challenges of the Deputy Security Officer, so the Klingon called him a mixed up bastard. The Klingon then struck at Alacard, and Alacard began to fight back. The fact that Alacard broke a few of his bones was frowned upon by Star Fleet. Alacard was demoted to Ensign, and was reassigned to the USS Southern Cross. He accepted the position as Deputy Chief Officer on the USS Southern Cross, and took the first shuttle headed where it was docked.
Medical/Psychology Report: Alacard is in perfect health, and top physical condition. Although he might seem whimsical and lighthearted, he caries a heavy burden that he wishes not to share. Investigation into the matter shows that his father abandoned him and his mother died in a starship explosion. He was raised by his Grandmother who was murdered by a gang of thugs. He seems to have found peace with all of this, and shouldn’t be an issue. Although not quick to anger, he has been known to rashly attack someone for insulting his heritage. Although at first he may seem chaotic, there is order to his chaos. He is dedicated to his duty, and will make an excellent officer in any situation. His skills might be best used in Starships exploring new or hostile space
