Tribal Boardwerks

"Welcome to Extreme Sports World. If it's extreme and you enjoy doing it then you belong here. This is for all those Generation Y's out there. That's right. If you were born after 1982 then you rock. Of course you already know that. Right? We live for that magical time of year when the X Games are on television. Whether it involves crazy board antics, bmx, or motocross stunts, we're totally there. If it is stupid or dangerous, or just plain fun, then we've done it. Let's rock the world, one stunt at a time. The ride of your life is about to begin." -Rogue, Tribal Overlord Seraphim Tribe

Seraphim Tribe

Bio:
One of the first tribes created, the Seraphim were a group of surfing rats from Huntington Beach, CA. They used to surf all the time and they were usually found down on the north side of the pier. On days when the surfing sucked they would go over and skate through the parking lot at Huntington Library. When the surf was on or there was skating to be had they made sure to be there for it. This tribe treat each other like brothers and are known for being loyal to their friends. They value courage, daring, and the ability to do some really sick stuff while riding any kind of board.
If you think you have what it takes then you belong with these guys and gals who have what it takes to be the best at whatever they do. Named for the highest order of angels they set a high standard to live up to.
Quotes:
"Alright dudes. So you think you've got what it takes, eh? You think you can ride with the best of them? You think that you can learn what it takes to be one of the best of the best? Guess what you're nothing. You say you can make it? Then prove it. Show us what you've got to offer. We will accept anyone who thinks that they can have fun and keep up with the crowd. Send us your story and if it totally rocks, then you're one of us." -Trip, Tribal Chief
"These guys are crazy. No one should be able to do that sort of stuff on boards. Some of it defies the laws of physics. Trip is nuts! Boy swims like a fish! I've never seen a man with so little fear in his eyes. They're like the eyes of the diablo." -Grommy, 6th Class Member
"Dude did you guys see the screws they put in Will's arm from that skating accident. I've never seen a bone poking through the skin like that. He shouldn't have been trying to skate on that homemade ramp I guess. Oh well, a metal plate and a few screws fixes most things." -Danny, neighbor/bystander

Demons Tribe

Bio:
Wow! Why don't we just leave this one at that? Wow! If you want to see crazy these are your kind of people. I don't think that they are just extreme sports' freaks but just plain freaks. These guys are cool unless you try and get in on their surfing ground. These guys are also very tough. You'd never catch me trying to push one of them around. Still, they always remain loyal to their comrades and with their brand of daring mixed with stupidity and a lack of fear about death, they are bar none some of the best board riders around.
I consider them to be very calculating and with such ingenuity they seem to be in the perpetual search for that which has eluded the human race since the founding of the first board sports. They are like Zen masters searching for enlightenment through the means of the ultimate ride.
Quotes:
"The moral of the story is,'never challenge a Demon to a surf contest.' What some people call rough housing, we call good fun. He just shouldn'ta tried to come in on my wave." -Six, Tribal Chief
"Grom tossing is our favorite sport. You can watch em try to fly. I've never seen any of them actually fly yet thought. Oh well, guess people weren't built to fly." -Nine, 3rd Class Tribal Member
"I gotta watch these guys like a hawk. Never drop in while one of them is trying to catch a sick ride. The yelling and screaming isn't worth the trouble." -Bystander, Balboa Beach, CA

Desert Sands Tribe

Bio:
Originating in Riverside County, California, these guys only know two things in life skating and motocross. If it's fast and dangerous they were probably the first one's to try it. These guys were probably the first skaters I met who introduced me to the mysteries mountain boarding. I guess they managed to take what they had to work with and do some seriously crazy things. I can only compare this feat of daring to trying to surf down the side of a hill or mountain. Let me tell you now that rocks hurt a lot more than water does.
Just as the desert landscape that surrounds them, this tribe is fluid in motion, changing from one minute to the next. Innovation, mad tricks, and speed are what they're all about. Their determination is like the force of a desert sandstorm. Blinding, fast, and unstoppable. There one minute and gone the next. They are mysterious and not likely to brag, letting their abilities and skills speak for themselves.
Quotes:
"Whatever you may wish to think. You can not hold back the storm. You can not force the sands of time to move as you desire. You can only watch for their coming and their going and appreciate that they are there." -Fault Line, Tribal Chief
"Riding a mountain of earth is just like riding a mountain of water except that mother earth is less forgiving than the old man of the sea. Pray that you don't upset her." -Wreck, 1st Class Member
"Surfer's watch waves and feel their movement. We feel the movement of the very earth beneath our feet and the feel of the wind just before we crash into the earth. Oh well. I've had worse broken bones than this one." -Spins, 1st Class Member, Trick Master
