Although called a Romulan Shuttle this vessel is far more similar to a Federation Runabout than any of the Federation's shuttles. The ship has a large crew compliment for a vessel of its size and even larger speed. It's armament is also exemplary with two torpedo launchers having been used. However the vessels internal security is lacking. Bombs can easily be gotten on board and many an assassination attempt has included blowing up a Romulan Shuttle. All in all this vessel is probably more than a match for a Runabout, but would probably be destroyed by a Peregrine Class. This vessel is mainly used in the role of Captain's Yacht aboard Romulan Warbirds. We expect to see more of these vessels in the near future as the Empire slowly uses them to replace the larger, less powerful, older Romulan Scout which also has a smaller crew compliment.
