Email: Louise & Shawn =)

Greetings and thank you for visiting our website. As of, December 1st, Louise and Shawn are now located in San Angelo, Texas "Ya'LL" . Here is a picture of our new house here in San Angelo at 609 Riverwood Drive, San Angelo, TX 76905 .

Louise and I are initially from South Lake Tahoe, California. We met in 2002, in the month of September. If anyone really believes in love at first sight, I DO =). I am so truly in love with the one that traveled and later moved 3000 miles to come to Tahoe to live with me. If there is anything such as perfect, Louise is the closest person that comes close to that. Louise and Shawn met thanks to a dear friend of Shawn's, Gary Maxwell , whom still lives in Santa Cruz, California.

Shawn, a California Native, was born in November of 1966, was born at Sequoia Hospital in Redwood City, California. Lived in Mountain View from 1966 to 1968, then in Redwood City from 1968 to 1974, and then moved to Menlo Park, California from 1974 to 1997. Shawn was raised by his Grandmother and Mom and Shawn all lived together at a very charming house which is in Menlo Park, California.

A very sad Moment in my life happened in September 1996, My Grandmother, Barbara G. G. passed away on September 15th, 1996 at 12:15a.m. All the time while my Grandmother was alive, she always wanted me to believe more in God, and when Barbara passed away on September 15th, 1996,  Shawn was at the church at the 9a.m. Services at Menlo Park Presbyterian Church, and the message that day at Menlo Park Presbyterian Church was, "I'm Hurt, Now What?"

Shawn thought a lot about the church he was about to go to and join and was quite comfortable there at Menlo Park Presbyterian Church which in March 1997 decided to join, and so I did. One thing I know my Grandmother would have loved, is I decided to become Baptized and believe in God more. I will always remember Jay Mitchell, MPPC's pastor, baptizing me and feeling the water on my head, I know it was just normal tap water (h2o) but it was the moment which made it a much more spiritual event, as I swore to give my life to God. Thank You Jay Mitchell - GOD BLESS YOU. I remember looking at my Mom and Dad just after I was baptized and looked into the crowd of people seated in the Pew's in the church that I know my Grandmother had been in so much, and I swore I saw My Grandmother sitting there besides my Mom and Dad smiling for me and saying Thank You.

¤ Shawn ¤ met ¤ Louise ¤ in September 2002, we met thru a online gaming site at It's-Your-Turn , Shawn's user name on It's-Your-Turn in SanAngeloTXMan and Louise's user name on It's-Your-Turn is BearlyStill . Look us up on there at It's-Your-Turn , and let's play a game, ANYTIME, Up For A Challenge ???

Louise & Shawn moved in together permanently on December 15th, 2002. We lived in South Lake Tahoe for quite a while and just fell in love with each other extremely fast and happily. During the winter of 2002-2003 Louise and Shawn both decided to get a bit more active sportingly and we went skiing at Heavenly Ski Resort in South Lake Tahoe, California and had some beautiful views and times from there.

In February of 2003, Louise gave Shawn one of the greatest Christmas presents, but not as great of a present as Louise herself, a present of going to the Daytona 500. On February 12th of 2003, Louise and Shawn departed to go to Florida, it was Shawn's first trip to Florida and both of us had a great time while in Florida. Louise took Shawn to the Corporate based MEA Investigations in Jacksonville, Florida, which Shawn was very happy to have gone to. Shortly after going to the MEA company, with Louise's knowledge of Jacksonville Florida, she drove Shawn around showing him the town of Jacksonville and we both decided to go to the beach.

We went to Jacksonville Beach, where Shawn hadn't been or seen the Atlantic Ocean for a long-long time, meaning along time like in 1983 sometime, when Shawn and his Grandmother and Mother had traveled from California to Maine. The next day we both decided to meet a very dear friend of Louise's, Brenda S. at the local restaurant, Cracker Barrel. Brenda at the time and Louise exchanged gifts and Brenda succeeded in embarrassing Shawn with some great gifts. Later that day Louise and Shawn drove to Orlando Florida, and while along the way to Orlando, Louise showed Shawn where the Daytona Motor Speedway was located, and while we were in town, very close to the track, we could hear the national anthem and then the "Gentlemen Starting Their Engine's" for the Busch Series race where Dale Earnhardt, Jr. won that day.

Louise and Shawn both had checked in at the Hotel in Orlando Florida and stayed in the hotel for a while and did some work for a while then went out and drove around looking for a nice place to eat, and ended up having dinner only at Sizzler, LOL. Later that evening Louise and Shawn Returned to the hotel, with Shawn's great dream of going to the Daytona 500, was just 12 hours away of being there, Shawn was getting VERY excited.

Then came the day of going to the Daytona 500 Race !!! Louise and Shawn departed the hotel at 4a.m. and started their 70 mile trip to Daytona Beach, Florida. Even though it was 4a.m., Shawn was extremely excited to go, even with the knowledge of possible rain that day, possibly threatening the race outcome, nothing could deter Louise and Shawn from going to the Daytona 500. Louise and Shawn arrived at the Daytona Motor Speedway at 5:45 a.m. and talked about just getting some sleep in the car before the track opens for people, but NOPE. As soon as we got there, we were out of the car walking towards the track, what beautiful weather for 5:50 a.m. Didn't even need a jacket, even in February.

Louise and Shawn walked around for along time, before finally finding our assigned seats, three rows up from the track too, in the Old-field Area of the Bleachers at the Daytona Track. Slowly the Daytona Motor Speedway area started to gain in attendance, and by 10 a.m. it was quite crowded. With the race still 3 hours away, Louise and Shawn just decided to relax and wait for the ceremonies to begin, and sure enough, around 12 p.m., noon, the moment was finally here. With clouds slowly building, the race officials decided to get the race started a bit earlier than projected. During the invocation and the National Anthem Shawn gave Louise many hugs for she was the one whom made this blessed event happen. During the ceremonies Louise and Shawn made some friends with a few people seated very close to us. Just a few funnies, one guy with a baseball cap on that said "It takes a lot of balls to golf like I do" and another fellow ( Tommy from Kentucky) whom had on a funny orange shirt that said "I measured up at the Hanging Cock Saloon." Then came the time for Mariah Carey to sing the National Anthem and following John Travolta to say the famous words of "Gentlemen, Start your Engines," then the race cars came to life . The first time the cars came by it was a beautiful sight, especially for Shawn. Tommy was saying get ready for a rush when the cars come around at the race speed, and later, the Green Flag flew, WOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooo, WHAT A RUSH !!!!!!! Words cannot explain the rush of cars going by you at 190 mph. Tommy then a few laps into the race said to Shawn, if you want a ultimate rush, actually said "If you want to loose it in your pants, go stand by the track close to the fence as they go by," so Shawn did. WOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, Even More Of A Rush!!!!!!!!

As the race went on, the clouds built and during the race, it had rained twice, with two red flags and then at Lap 106 of a forecasted 200 laps, with the race offically completed if it was to be rain shortened, well it rained again for the third time, and this time didn't let up, eventually with Michael Waltrip (15) winning the race. Louise and Shawn then decided that it was time to go back to the hotel. It took Louise and Shawn almost 7 hours to travel the 70 miles back to the hotel, OHHhh What A Trafic Jam !!!!! Unfortunately our trip was cut a bit short, the day after the Daytona 500, both Louise and Shawn became very ill with the Flu, so we ended up coming home the next day after the Daytona 500. We had both missed out on another place that wasn't to be, we had planned to go to Disney World in Orlando Florida, but decided to go home due to illness instead.
