CH'TAALA, L'NHRAEI - Capital of the L'nhraei Commonwealth of Planets (3 February 2503): After not even six months after the death of Emperor Joshmaul II, the Reydovan Empire comes back with full force from an unexpected place - the Reydovan Guard, the defenders of the Chancellor himself.
Chancellor Joshua Underwood was exiled from Reydovan Prime by Reydovan Emperor Kiran Joshmaul III, the grandson of Joshmaul the First himself. Some disturbing information has also come up with the mysterious return of Reydovan Empress Natalya, the widow of the First Emperor.
In the last decade of the 25th century, Joshmaul I secretly built or hijacked 80,000 ships to serve in a fleet in case he ever went to war with the Federation. These included ships from the Federation, the Klingon Empire, the Romulan Star Empire, the Hydran Kingdom, the Gorn Star Kingdom, the Lyran Star Empire, the Alliance of Incorporated Worlds and the Yoltorian Authority. This was all done in secret to make these hijackings look like wide-spread piracy. When Joshmaul I died in 2501, Natalya commandeered the science vessel Severnaya and escaped with this massive fleet, which was split evenly and hid in the Bradley Nebula and the Korolev Expanse, out in the far reaches of the Empire. They managed to avoid Klingon detection networks by activating sensor masking systems, and hiding for over a year and a half.
Now the Empress has returned, and the military is stronger than that of the former rulers of the Reydovan systems, the L'nhraei Commonwealth. Because of the apparent L'nhraei takeover of the old Republic military, an invasion of the L'nhraei Commonwealth appears imminent.
