FIRST CITY, REYDOVAN PRIME (New Year's Day 2503): As of now, the Reydovan Democratic Republic has ceased to be. The United Systems of Reydovan has now become a large portion of the Republic's ally, the L'nhraei Commonwealth of Planets, increasing the population of the smaller but more powerful nation tenfold.
The Reydovan Admissions Act of December 28, 2502, or 14 Messidor 187, reads as follows:

Reydovan Admission Act
1. (a) Authority for Section 2 of this Act comes from Article I, Section 7, paragraph 4. (b) Authority for Section 3 of this Act comes from Article I, Section 7, paragraph 9. (c) Authority for Section 4 of this Act comes from Article I, Section 7, paragraph 6. (d) Authority for Section 5 of this Act comes from Article I, Section 7, paragraph 3. (e) Authority for Sections 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13 of this Act comes from Article I, Section 7, paragraph 8. (f) Authority for Section 14 of this Act comes from Article I, Section 7, paragraph 1. (g) Authority for Section 15 of this Act comes from Article I, Section 2, paragraph 1. (h) Authority for Section 16 of this Act comes from Article I, Section 2, paragraph 2, and Article 1, Section 3, paragraph 2. (i) Authority for Sections 17 and 18 of this Act comes from Article I, Section 7, paragraph 4.
2. The b Leonis Minoris (Reydovan), 20 Arietis (Occult), HD 90681 (Tiberius), 35 Leonis Minoris (Myst), HD 87836 (Sirrus/Achernar, although accepted as Sirrus), 38 Leonis Minoris (Sugia), HD 85902 (Tyrus), HD 92194 (Iago), Gl 230 (MacDonald), HD 95072 (Korolev), HD 89744 (Bradley), and Hip 50506 (Carmel) systems ("Reydovan systems") shall be admitted to the L'nhraei Commonwealth of Planets ("Commonwealth") as member worlds, with the full rights and obligations of any other member world.
3. The military of the Reydovan Republic shall be abolished. All ships, bases, weaponry, supplies, and other property shall become part of the Commonwealth Defence Force. All vessels built by the Reydovan systems shall be designated RSS (Reydovan Star Ship).
4. The patent, trademark, and copyright office of the Reydovan Republic shall be abolished. All patents, trademarks, and copyrights granted by that office shall be valid until their current expiration. Upon expiration, each grant may be renewed in accordance with Commonwealth law at the time of its expiration. Any such grant in conflict with a grant issued by the Commonwealth shall remain valid only in the twelve (12) member worlds mentioned in Section 1.
5. The Reydovan mark shall be established at the rate of three-two thousandths (3/2000, 0.0015) troy ounces of latinum.
6. There shall be established one hundred and ninety-two (192) district courts within the Reydovan systems. Each of the forty-eight (48) inhabited worlds within the Reydovan systems shall be divided into four semi-hemispheres, measured by each world's equator and prime meridian. Each court shall have jurisdiction over one semi-hemisphere.
7. The Court of Appeals for the First Circuit shall have jurisdiction over the Reydovan system.
8. The Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit shall have jurisdiction over the Occult system.
9. The Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit shall have jurisdiction over the Tiberius system.
10. The Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit shall have jurisdiction over the Myst system.
11. The Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit shall have jurisdiction over the Sirrus system.
12. The Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit shall have jurisdiction over the Sugia system and the Tyrus system.
13. There shall be created a Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, with jurisdiction over the Iago system, the MacDonald system, the Korolev system, the Bradley system, and the Carmel system.
14. Effective 22 Germinal 187 (13 October 2503), the flag of the Commonwealth shall be per bend sinister azure and vert, thirty-five (35) mullets orbicular argent.
15. The Assembly of the L'nhraei Commonwealth of Planets shall consist of eleven thousand (11,000) members, apportioned among the people according to population.
16. The first appointment of Senators and the first election of Assembly members shall take place no later than 1 Frimaire 187 (19 May 2503) and those candidates selected shall take office no later than 1 Nivôse 187 (19 June 2503). Their terms of office shall be deemed to start on 1 Messidor 187 (14 December 2502).
17. Article V of the Constitution of the Commonwealth shall apply to acts passed by any government in the Reydovan systems.
18. Any Reydovan system may leave the Commonwealth following approval by a majority of its legislature and a majority of those citizens eligible to vote under the laws of that member world.

The Republic flag now only flies over the following locations: The ruins of the Dark Tower in the mountains above First City; the Tower of the Argonath in the same location; the Monolith, in the mountains above Eau Claire; the Republic Navy Headquarters, now the Museum of Reydovan Military History; and finally, the Imperial Palace, flying underneath the flag of the Commonwealth and above the flag of the Chancellor. The flag of the Commonwealth will be changed in approximately ten months, to accomodate the stars of the Reydovan systems.
