TIBERIANOPOLIS, TIBERIUS PRIME (30 December 2502): With the final day of Reydovan sovereignty approaching, Chancellor Joshua Underwood leads the First Reydovan Prime Legion of the Republic Army to Tiberius Prime, the last vestige of Imperial influence in the Twelve Systems.
About eight million men, under the personal command of the Chancellor himself, landed near the ruined capital of Tiberianopolis early this morning and began spreading out by corps to every remaining civilian settlement on the planet. All Imperial-affiliated civilians have been arrested; all Imperial civilians or Imperial Army troopers who attack Republic soldiers are summarily being arrested for the charge of treason, conspiracy in the assassination of Chancellor Jeremiah Neill or inciting insurrection against the Republic. They will be sent to the Republic Supreme Court on Reydovan Prime to be tried by the Chancellor as the high judge with the Council of Chancellors - the system governors of the Republic - as the jury. The leaders of these civilian/Imperial Army warbands were summarily executed. These are the last executions to be recorded within the Republic for all time, to make room for the more humane measures of the Commonwealth.
The entire loyal population of Tiberius Prime has been relocated to other worlds in and outside of the system. The Republic Army has commensed the destruction of every fortress and ruined city on the entire planet, reduced to desert wastelands from a thermonuclear explosion from the fusion reactors powering the cities of Tiberianopolis and New Sacramento, to make room for the terraforming ships.
