Getting a little boost

This is the easiest way to gain between 1.5-2" up front. This only works on 98+ 4x4 trucks, but it's FREE.
Here's what you need: 3/8" ratchet, 1/2" socket, and a tape measure (if you need that sort of thing).
First park on level ground. Now look under your truck and find the spot where the bars meet the frame (right under the doors).

There is a plate that protects the adjustment bolt for the torsion bars. Find the head of the bolt, and then tighten it.

Count the turns.
Do not tighten the bolt all the way. I found it took fewer turns to raise the drivers' side, but now you measure (or eyeball it). Pick a convenient spot to compare. The front bumper, or a spot on the frame (like a body mount) will work well for this. Measure on the side you lifted, and use this to set your height on the other side.
