Leon comes from a large family. He has three brothers and two sisters and a ton of aunts, uncles and cousins. He enjoys their company, especially during family reunions at his grandfather's beach house.
Leon enjoys playing pool, swimming, martial arts and most of all quiet time. He's a very serious person when it come to business, but he can be the life of the party when he gets around close friends. He's also a very traditional type of person, especially when it comes to relationships. He treats others with the same respect he expects in return. He's been known to be a listener and an observer at some times. He's very diplomatic, but can be a hothead if pushed to his limits.
Xavier's family's culture provided him with his drive for everything he's done in his life. Jamaicans are proud, dedicated, God-fearing people. He worked himself through Starfleet academy and even served as chaplain for his squad. He graduated with honors.
His first commission was a trial under fire. He was assigned to the Diplomatic team onboard the USS Falcon, but she was soon called into service to help fight the final battle of the Dominion War. Xavier asked for a transfer to a 332nd Starfighter Squadron to serve as point for the combined Federation task force. Xavier earned the title "XL" for taking on targets 10 times his size and still winning his battles with the greatest of ease. He compares his story to the Biblical tale of David and Goliath. He identifies his faith in God for giving him the drive to fight. He lives by conflicting terms, his faith and his fight, but he sees it going hand in hand. He fights because God put us here to make peace and if that means defending or making that peace down the barrel of a phaser or with a photon torpedo, so be it.
After his tenure aboard the Falcon and the 332nd Starfighter Group ended, he applied for the position of Chief Diplomatic Officer aboard the USS Washington, commanded by Rear-Admiral Robert Seldon of the Defense Response Force of the Independence Fleet. The Washington was without a Conn Officer, so Seldon asked Leon to serve as the Washington's Conn Officer until a replacment could be found. After the ship's first succesful mission, Seldon decided to promote his first officer, Commander Krol, to Captain. He assigned him to the USS Potomac and Krol wanted Leon to serve as her new helmsman. Leon now serves as the Conn Officer for the Ambassador-class starship, USS Potomac, NCC-23512.
