T'Nev is the child of a Vulcan botanist on Earth and a Bajorin Trader. His mother (the trader) died two years after he was born in a reported "accident" by the Cardasians. He grew up under his father's care in London. He experienced what every good English youth should despite the fact he was and alien. He never understood his father's complete emotionlessness as he grew up around humans and is half Bajorin. He performed poorly academically early on because he was more interested in Rugby and cared little for academics. His father let the boy develope without major interference and without demanding the kid conform to his Vulcan heritage. T'Nev met his uncle on his mother's side when he was 15, and decided he wanted the stars. Realizing the best ticket to the stars was Star Fleet he increased his academic performance especially showing skill in mathmatics and languages. At age 18 (conforming to human standards) he applied to Star Fleet and was accepted. T'Nev chose to focus on piloting and transporters. He was better at piloting but refused to give up on transporters and continued all courses in that area until he flunked out of Advanced Engineering Of Transporters. T'Nev also learned Klingon and advanced his knowlegde of Vulcan (the language) at the academy. After four years T'Nev graduated in the top quarter of his class and was assigned to the USS Nixon, a Challenger Class vessel, as shuttle pilot. After a year of sevice and unsure of his life T'Nev requested a leave of absence and headed to Vulcan. T'Nev spent a year on Vulcan with his father's brother and learned about Vulcan heritage. After a year he had had enough and headed to Earth to visit his father and home. His father left for Africa and T'Nev accompianed him to study plants of the Congo Jungle. T'Nev learned much of his mother's past and decided he was less compulsive than his mother. Nine months in Africa will do anybody so T'Nev headed to San Francisco and ended his leave of absence to be stationed aboard the USS Potomac.
T'Nev despite his claimed differences is very Vulcan. He is logical 95% of the time and only otherwise in cases were a human would experience an adrenaline or endorphine rush. He lacks the complete Vulcan psi powers despite attempts to learn on Vulcan and with his father. He can only concentrate and control his bodily functions, go into a healing trance, and can only mind meld with other Vulcans. He posses no other telepathic abilities.
T'Nev has the eyebrows and ears of a Vulcan and also the nose ridge of the Bajorin's. His skin is "mediteranean" in color and his hair is already lightening right above the temples. T'Nev is neutral to all individuals at first except Cardasians as he knows his mother did not die in an accident. T'Nev enjoys rugby in the holodeck and is a great fan of the archaic games of chess and poker; also T'Nev will never give up a chance to pilot a shuttle through a difficult situation.
