Sindari Cl'Vangas Strike Fighter:

Designed as a small-scale and efficient fire support craft, the Sindari Cl'Vangas Strike Fighter's design was derived largely from captured Shakurian fighters. More than 90% of her volume is comprised of engine, weapon and instruments, providing the firepower of a small escort in a package barely 20 meters long. Unfortunately, their use is limited to ships and bases that are equipped with the proper facilities for their use, as they are too small to carry warp drive, repair, medical and other support systems. The miniaturized weapons and engines are also extremely expensive to produce, of which proved unpopular with later Senates.
These fighters made their debut as a escorts stationed on board the RSE Katar, where they very effectively proved their usefulness in offensive, defensive and limited reconnaissance roles. Their name, Sindari Cl'Vangas is Romulan for "Swarm of Vengance".
