After having waited 16 years, Star Trek fans were finaly treated to the first Federation Starship since the Constitution: The U.S.S. Reliant! Having first appeared in "Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan", she spawned a host of kitbashes that would be used well into the TNG era, long past the retirement of the Constitution class.
Commandeered by the genetically engineered Khan Noonian Singh, the USS Reliant was used to steal the Federation's top-secret terraforming project, code named Genesis. She was destroyed in the Mutara Nebula when said device was detonated, creating the unstable Genesis planet in the process. All this was done in Khan's driving desire for revenge against Admiral Kirk...
Mod Notes
Included here are two versions of the Miranda: The USS Reliant NCC-1864 and USS Hephaestus NCC-1829. Both have specs identical to the ingame Miranda, however the Reliant sports the pulse phasers from the movie.
