Do We Have Similar Goals in Life?

I AM A HUMANITARIAN

This Is What I Can Do For You

My Vision and Credentials
People Really Can Be Happy!
There's Plenty of Work To Do.
An Ideal World Is Possible Someday.

We spend a third or more of our lives in school, trying to gain knowledge and skills that would benefit us in the "real world." We then spend another third of our lives trying to "succeed" by applying things we were supposed to have learned. We make our share of mistakes, and once in a while, we hit a home run. Nothing is guaranteed, and nothing comes easily or free for most people. Our vision of life begins to fade with time, as we compete for apparently limited opportunities. In reflection during the last third of our lives, we often look back upon hazy memories, and wish we had done many things differently, tried to be happier, and not let too many "small things" get in our way. We hope in our passing that we've contributed a few improvements to the family of human beings, and that people who survive us will have fond memories of our shorts lives, while memories last. If I as a child only had the wisdom of experience, I wouldn't have enjoyed being a child. And as an adult, if only I could have the innocence lost, I may not enjoy the responsibilities and experiences inherent in living. We strive, we achieve, we reach those magical zones, and then we are elated. Happiness can be a simple, worthwhile, and fulfilling goal and life journey. We would all do better to focus on chasing it more often. I've decided to chase the rainbow, to find that elusive symbolic pot of gold, which I plan to share with humanity.
