Chief Diplomatic Officer
The Diplomatic Officer coordinates with the Commanding Officer in all matters that require negotiation or diplomacy. Be it for a trade treaty, a prisoner exchange, or something as little as a tour of the ship for a group of dignitaries. This position is a “jack of all trades” in the diplomacy trade.
The Diplomatic Officer has an office on the ship, but can be seen on the bridge as well. The Diplomatic Officer can also be found on most away mission involving new civilizations and first contact situations.

This is a Senior Staff position that see a good deal of inclusion of many types of missions; especially those that require diplomacy and negotiation.
