Apparently I do not update my blog enough so I will attempt to rectify that situation.
Today I had to leave at 7am to get to school in time for Colin's 8 o'clock class. I didn't have class until 10:40 so I spent the time sleeping in the Atria. I woke up about every half an hour or so, once to some mysterious loud rumbling sound which I sleepily thought was the world ending. Either that or an extremely loud disturbance on the roof, like numerous hailstones from the sky. But I mused that no one was screaming, so it must not be serious.
I still managed to be late to my Animal Science Lab, cuz I misread what time it was when I woke up for like the 5th time and it took me several minutes to process the hour and minute hands.
But I didn't miss much; only a dull (I'm sure) list of the ingredients in milk. We then made our own butter, cottage cheese and ice cream. So at least I got breakfast.
I met Colin in the CSCI building and attempted the crossword puzzle. That didn't go too well so I just took a nap.
Onward to Physics Discussion. I got 90/100 on my test. I just screwed up a part on one of the problem sets, and one of the multiple choice. Two wrong isn't bad. At least it pulls me above my seemingly favorite score of the year: 88. We worked out some problems in groups, which is actually kinda fun cuz at least we're doing something instead of listening to lecture. That's why Thursdays, though incredibly long, are my favorite b/c all my classes are labs/activities so the actual class time is fun and I have enough of a break between each one to do the homework for that class if I have to.
Post-discussion I went to Starbucks (did I hear a groan?) to work on my Chemistry lab problems for tonight. I had to fill out a lab and I was having the hardest time with part of it until inspiration struck (either that or caffiene starting to be absorbed in my blood-stream o_O ) and all of a sudden I realized it was WAAAY easier than I was trying to make it.
So now everythings done and I got like an hour before lab starts so I could start my physics hw for tm or microecon or I could read my book: A Cow's Life .
For some reason I have a lot of time for reading. I've read a book about Ruminant Nutrition (suddenly the class notes make sense! and are interesting! I even asked a question in class on Monday! plus it helps that now we've moved into rumen microbes and are looking at SE/TE Micrographs of the protozoa and bacteria and fungi, my personal FAVORITE!). I also read (scanned) a book Right vs Left and handedness and other stuff like that which I also find extremely interesting. Like if we were completely bilaterally symmetrical you wouldn't even need a right and left, cuz it wouldn't matter.
Yesterday I went to the Pre-Vet club meeting which got me pretty enthused about stuff so I'm more sure that that's where I want to head.
Alright, well I'm gunna look up more info on rumen microbes.
