Welcome to Gretel's Bizarro World

Hearin' the twilight

When I hear this melody
This strange illusion takes over me
Through a tunnel of the mind
Perhaps a present or future time oh, oh
Out of nowhere comes this sound
This melody that keeps spinning 'round & 'round
Pyramidal locomotion
From a mystic unknown zone

Okay, enough of that.

Last night at Target I started out in Infants and Lingerie, but then I switched with Monica and did the fitting room. That wasn't really that bad. I could see how one would be bored with it after a while, but it was a nice change. It's not as stressful as the sales floor. But I don't get to go to the huddles. :'( And on my down time I can doodle on the checklist. Too bad I can't read :(

We got out pretty early last night. I was pretty tired, so I went to bed right away.

I didn't get up too long ago, so nothing new to report there.

I've just been responding to comments. So check those out if you made some :P

Love Gretel

So what is you do in the huddles? It has always mystified me, especially when I go to the store in the morning, can't find a cashier cause they're all huddled somewhere. At Walmart I believe they chant 'Walmart, Walmart' goooooo
Walmart!' and throw their hands in the air. Employees with low production have to drop and do 20 push-ups, or do laps around the store. Or maybe that's the MN Gophers. Whatever....

Ummmmm. . . No. First of all, barely anybody works in the morning, which is prolly why you can't find anyone. I don't know if they have huddles in Walmart. And huddle activities are strictly top secret.

But I have top secret clearance. I really don't work for Walmart, the evil corporate giant, hated by unions, boycotted by all good Teamsters everywhere. I must know!

Even so, I'm not sure I could let such an outsider in on the secret truths of the Target huddles. Besides, if you are 007, as you claim, you'll have no trouble infiltrating our ranks.
