Let's Go Fly a Kite

It was another beautiful day in Denver. The sun was shining, the wind was blowing. And Wilson and I decided to fly our Dollar Store kites. Such fun to be had for a half a dollar. :D

Anyway, the kites worked great. Wilson had to go to a meeting. So I mangaged to get both kites up myself. It was a challenge. And sometimes it didn't always work, but it was great fun.

That's what we did most of the afternoon.

Then we went to King Soopers and stocked up on supplies for the night.

Anyway; late night of workin' tommorrow. And my family is in the state. Yay!

Love Gretel

is that a happy "Yay!"? Too bad you didn't run into any kite-eating tree while you were out sailing kites...how come you had to fly both kites yourself, what about that wilson guy? Hey, i'm looking for that old fashioned granny underwear, could you tell me what aisle that would be located at in TARGET? Did you get Captain Crunch cereal?(part of a complete breakfast, or lunch, or dinner, ect. you never know what a college student would use Captain Crunch cereal for)

How do you not know how to spell "yay"? For your information, "yay" is spelled Y-E-A-H!!!
"Wilson had to go to a meeting. So I managed to get both kites up myself." ACTUALLY, if you had a proper schooling, you would have typed: Wilson had to go to a meeting, so I managed to get both kites up myself. Did you notice the comma??? No wonder you dropped out of college for this quarter!!!
Third, didn't your teachers ever teach you that YOU NEVER START A SENTENCE WITH AND? Oh boy.
Last, when you finish a letter or whatever else and you want to leave a "Love Gretel," your're actually supposed to type or write it like this:
Love,
Gretel
Duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh(ect.)

Actually, it is entirely permissible to begin a sentence with 'and', a practice which is frequently used in academic writing. Also, I express grave doubts as to the validity of Mrs. Dontchanohowtospell's qualifications as an English teacher at English Central Middle School since she failed to notice the mispelling of 'tomorrow', a frequently misspelled word in the English language.

Well I think "Indignant" has just about summed it up for me. :smug look: Plus, blogging is not formal writing in the least. So you should just chill out and go jump in the water tank. Go back to remedial English. And as this is not a formal letter, I can sign it however I want to.

It is a happy yay. Wilson went to a meeting, so that's why I had to fly them myself. I could have just flown the one, but Miss Vaughn is always up for a challenge. Old granny underwear is located in Hosiery. And NO, I do not eat Capt. Crunch. Though I am curious to know what you think a college student would use it for.

Oh yeah, and in computer lingo, "yay" can be spelled any number of ways. Yeah is more like yah or yea; as in the affirmative response to a question. Yay is more of a exuberant exaultation. One that implies happiness.
