Early Life: Hank's family immigrated from the Borandi
Empire homeworld just after his birth. An old one-way hypergate brought his
him and his parents to Earth where his parents ended up catching a fatal
virus and passing on while he was still young. (Hank didn't catch the virus)
He was adopted by a Terran family and raised by the Logan's. He grew up
like other kids until the age of 12 when he discovered something
interesting. His is a race of contortionist-like people, whose skeleton's
fit loosely together allowing them to bend their bodies in ways most races
can't. This ability caused him a few social problems, but Hank had been
raised to be slow to anger and to keep his cool.
Although his family lived the simple life of coffee
shop owners, Henry quickly picked up computer programming. His family
disagreed with the ways,
but they could not stand in his way. He went to
school and graduated with a degree in computer science. Later he went to
the Academy to start a
promising career in Starfleet.
Beginning Career: Went through the Academy to earn his commission as an
officer. While there, he met and befriended an out-of-time human by the
name of Victor Davidson. Henry helped Victor with is computer skills while
Vic taught Henry all about the 20th century heroes he now adored.
Recently, Henry's foster mother found some artifacts that his real parents
had brought with them when they fled to Earth. Among them were several
small orbs that were identified as "Fortune Balls" by an interstellar trader
named Amos Ammassie. Henry is still trying to figure out what these
artifacts are used for.
Previous Assignments: served as computer specialist on USS Yamoto, USS Hood,
and USS Washington, transferred to OPS and was placed in the XO slot when
Adm Robert Seldon and Captain James Mirtoh both left the ship for their own
reasons.
