Helen's Fan Art

This is a collection of some of my Star Trek artworks. Most of them are just for fun, not meant to be really serious...so don't give me a hard time!! Just look them over and enjoy life!

I did this in Art 1, way back in my Sophomore year of high school. We had to do all the colors of the rainbow in a particular shape, over a background of different shades of one color. And, I'm a big nerd, so that's what I did. But hey, it was displayed in the art showcase!

Okay, this is a picture I did, using only PaintBrush. It was an illustration of a song Parody that my sisters wrote, called The Borg Version of Part of Your World.

Okay, I'm a big nerd, as I said, so I saw this strange vase at work and immediately thought that it looked like the Guardian of Forever. So, I bought it, painted it (it was originally white) and it's now on my bookcase.

This is a multi-media piece, featuring my two favorite Star Trek characters: Spock and Chakotay.
Starting at the left side, it's dark brown paint, fading into black, then green. In the top left corner, there's a hand drawn (with pencil, then permanent black marker) Chakotay's tattoo. For fun, I used a glow-in-the-dark paint sealer, mixed with a little brown paint, and it added an interesting gloss. In the bottom left, you'll see a pencil sketch of Chakotay, framed by brown paint, using a fan brush.
I have a clear gloss with sparkles and glitter in it, so I used it over the black area...then decided to put it over the rest of the backgrounds...Also in the center area, in case you missed it, there's a large Star Trek insignia.
Continuing to the top right corner, we find the IDIC symbol, painted with gold and silver paint, and a dash of Opalescent white for the diamond. I also used some of the glow in the dark sealer over it, giving it a lovely gloss that doesn't properly show up in the photos. At the bottom right, we see a young looking, Spock--also framed with the fan brush, this time in green.

I found a basic Male model thing I had from an Art class, so I used it as a basis to make Chakotay as Starfleet cadet.

I asked my sister what I should draw. She said, "Chakotay as a snowman." And so I delivered.

This is actually a woman from a novel/story I'm writing. She's a jungle woman (Romulan), so she's a little wild looking.
