My
Family
My family is a stack of books,
sitting on a shelf.
My Father is a Repair Manual,
fixing what is wrong.
My Mother is a Study Bible,
sturdy and strong.
My little sister is a Dictionary,
working her way into conversations.
My middle sister is a Family Bible,
trying to be like mom.
I am a fictional book,
filled with fantasies,
dreaming my dreams.
