(See below) It is classified as a heavy battlecruiser however it is about equally armed to it's lighter counterpart the Galor. The Keldon has a bulkier appearance compared to the Galor and is slower and is more heavily armored and shielded. These ships were also used by the Obsidian order in their invasion of the Gamma Quadrant. The ships used by the order were equipped with cloaking devices |

Specs Forward 4 Phasers 4 Heavy Disruptors Aft 1 Phaser 1 Heavy Disruptor Port and Starboard 3 Phasers Length: 481 meters Other Info The Galor class has been used by the Cardassian Empire since the beginning of the war with the Federation in the late 2340's. These ships have been refitted over the years to keep up with other races cruisers. It's rumored that the basic hull design has been in use for at least 70 years. It's weaponry is equal to the Keldon's but it's faster and has lighter shielding and armor than it's heavier counterpart. The Galor's were slated for retirement by the late 2370's but because of the Dominion war they will likely stay in service for at least another ten years. |
Cardassian Gourmall Freighter by KAF-Thor
Specs Forward 3 Phasers Aft 2 Phasers No other weapons Length: 256 meters Other Info This ship is identical to the Klingon Military Freighter. An independent construction firm designed the Gourmall and sold it to both the Cardassian and Klingon Empires. When the Klingons found out about the design being in Cardassian hands they assembled a fleet and destroyed all the construction firm's facilities. Today both the Klingons and Cardassians use this design only difference between the Klingon and Cardassian versions is the paint job and the weapon's load out. These freighters are lightly armed and need to be escorted if they are to survive a combat situation. |
