In the Summer of 2001, Christy and I took a trip to New England. It was a short trip, but we managed one hike in New Hampshire, to the summit of Mount Jefferson.
In the Fall of 2021, Christy and I took a trip to New England. We spent four nights at the Lafayette Campground in Franconia Notch State Park. On our first day we did a hike to Champney Falls, Pitcher Falls, and Mount Chocorua. Photos. The next day, I hiked from the campground to Mount Lafayette and Franconia Ridge. Photos. The next morning, we joined our friends Rich and Cindy for a hike to The Flume and The Pool. Photos. That afternoon, Christy and I explored The Basin and Cascade Brook. I extended the hike solo to Lonesome Lake and back to the campground. Photos The next day we did three short hikes in Crawford Notch State Park. Photos.
