In April of 2007 a business trip gave me the opportunity to finally hike near Vancouver for the first time. I didn't have enough free time to visit Vancouver Island, so I decided to spend a day hiking in Golden Ears Provincial Park. On my day there, I hiked the West Canyon Trail to the Lower Falls of Gold Creek and on to Alder Flats.
