If we force feed a static frequency into the shields from the main sensors then we would probally severe the link...unless" ::stops in thought after mumbling to himself::

Ensign: "Unless what sir?" 

Jyuts: "Unless whatever stopped us from cutting the link the first time can press past the new barrier" ::rubs the ridges between his eyes with his index and middle fingers:: "Well lets give it a shot, find me a strong static frequency from the main sensors"

Ensign: "Yes sir" ::walks over to another station to find the information::

Jyuts: =^= First of all it elaborates Commander Tolbin's shield frequency idea, but it also has the side effect of blinding us from using all sensors except visual scans=^=

McCloud: =^= What do intend to do?=^=

Jyuts: =^=Well we could force feed a complete static frequency from the main sensors into the frequency modulator of the main shields.  This should completely cut our link with the probe but it will blind us until we take it down=^=

McCloud: =^= Alright sounds good=^=

Tolbin: ::interrupting:: =^=What if you have difficulty taking the forced in static frequency out of the shield pattern?=^=

Jyuts: =^= Yeah that could be problem we would have to shut down all shields and then reset the modulators, but that would only take=^= ::pauses to think:: =^= about 3 four minutes at most maybe 2 if I had complete help from tactical=^=

Tolbin: =^=Well it sounds good to stabilize the situation but has a certain hazard factor but its probally worth it=^=

OFF: Ok I like to leave things on the edge for easy pick up, sorry I didnt include more characters in my post itll take me time to get used to everyone's personalities.
