Location: Outside Holodeck 2.

KOPTUKA: Computer, access directory Koptuka, and run program
Kimtonnah 
1.

COMPUTER: Kimtonnah 1 is running.

:: The holodeck doors part, and a perfect vision of Koptuka's home
world is 
revealed. The air is a tangible liquid, breathable to any
oxygen-breathing 
organism, and full of nutrients for Kimtonnan plantlife. Roaming the
land are 
reptilian, mammalian and plant species. On Kimtonnah, many plant
species 
are capable of free movement, and some are sentient. The sky is
populated 
by a few machines close to the city of Kimm, but reptilian flying
creatures 
Kimtonnans call Shotu enjoy the rural skies. The fluid atmosphere
adds a blue 
hue to everything. Koptuka steps into the doorway of the holodeck,
then 
hears footfalls behind her. She turns to see an interested Lieutenant
Kelly, in 
civilian dress, catching a glance inside the holodeck as he was
passing by. ::

KOPTUKA: Lieutenant. Hello, we haven't met yet. I'm--

KELLY: --Ensign Koptuka. I'm sorry to intrude on your holodeck
program, but 
at least I got to meet you. I'll be going now. See you later.

KOPTUKA: Actually Lieutenant, you're not intruding. You're obviously 
off-duty... you're welcome to join me if you want. :: smiling
hopefully... maybe 
she can make another new friend ::

KELLY: I guess I have a few minutes...Well, is this your home world?

KOPTUKA: I'm off-duty, so you can call me Beth, if you like. Yes,
Lieutenant, 
this is Kimtonnah. I grew up in that city a few miles a way. ::
pointing ::

KELLY: If you're Beth off-duty, then I'm Vian.

KOPTUKA: :: grins:: Agreed.

:: Kelly steps into the holodeck scene, looking a bit puzzled, then
extends a 
finger into mid air, and is surprised by the fluid that pushes back.
Since 
Lieutenant Kelly is now part of the scenery, some nearby shrubbery
turns to 
look at her. Kelly looks at Koptuka and they both grin, then Kelly
notices 
Koptuka's skin constantly changes color in this environment. She's
just about 
to comment, but... ::

McCLOUD: Captain McCloud to Ensign Koptuka.

:: Koptuka stiffens a bit and taps her communicator. ::

KOPTUKA: Yes, Captain.

McCLOUD: We will be approaching Memory Alpha in a few minutes. I know 
you are scheduled for time off at the moment, but we are still
understaffed, 
and I need some extensive scans from you on Memory Alpha's system.
Looks 
like we have some trouble there.

KOPTUKA: Right away sir. < and to Kelly... > It was good to meet you
Vian. 
See you later.

KELLY: Looking forward to it.

:: Koptuka leaves Kelly still standing amidst the blue liquid and
thinking 
plants. ::
