McCLOUD <over comm> : "This is the Captain. I just want to say you have all 
been doing a great job getting the ship ready for her maiden voyage. It 
looks like we're ready to take a little shake down cruise. I know we 
still have some temporary crewmen on board, as not all of our key 
staff has reported in yet. We may have to stop along the way to pick 
up some of them, but Admiral Star and I think we should take the 
ship out to make sure she's ready. So, all hands to stations, and 
lets get under way."

:: Koptuka thinks to herself, OK, here goes... she's trying not to be nervous.

KOPTUKA: Astrometrics Specialist's Log... So far, I've recorded three new 
M-class planets, 2 dwarf systems, 1 gas giant, and 1 pulsar. As soon as 
analysis of the M-class planets is complete, I'll report my findings to the 
captain.

COMPUTER: :: beeps twice :: Analysis of M-class planets is now complete.

KOPTUKA: :: smiles at the irony :: Ensign Koptuka to Captain McCloud.

McCLOUD <over comm> : Yes, Ensign.

KOPTUKA: I have data and analysis on some nearby systems that you may 
find interesting... would you like me to transmit the info to your computer in 
your Ready Room?

McCLOUD: That was fast! Yes please, Ensign.
