OFF: I just wanted to say that is great to finally get to read some 
of your post. I can't wait to read more, I know that this is going 
to be a great crew. I am glad to be able to serve with you.

ON:

LOCATION: {Ten Forward}

Jade: :: I hand the PADD with my report to the First Officer. :: "I 
went ahead and did a psychological profile on each of the crew 
members for you and the Captain to look over before we launch. I hope 
that is fine with you, I knew that you both would like to see it 
before we left space dock. And First Officer Tolbin, you wanted to 
talk to me about....?"

Tolbin: "You must have read my mind, Counselor."

Jade: "Why is that, Sir?"

Tolbin: "Well, that is one thing I wanted to tell you to get 
accomplished as soon as possible, but like I said you read my mind 
and got it done for me ahead of time. The second thing I wanted to 
talk to you about is, that I know that this is your first time to 
serve on a Starship and if you have any problems, or any questions, 
then please feel free to come to me or the Captain."

Jade: :: Smiles with a touch of redness in my cheeks. :: "Thank you 
so much, Sir. That is very generous of you."

Tolbin: "One more thing, Counselor, before I dismiss you, have you 
ever been in space before?"

Jade: "Yes, Sir, I have. I use to go to Mars for vacation twice a 
year. I enjoy their snow slopes. I would usually stay for a couple 
of weeks before returning to Earth."

Tolbin: "That is great to here. Well, I don't want to keep anymore 
of your time. I need to go check on stuff before I turn in for the 
night."

Jade: "Thank you again, Sir."

Tolbin: "No problem, and thank you for the psychological profiles on 
the crew."

Jade: "Sure, thats my job!"

:: The First Officer leaves Ten Forward. ::

:: I continue to sit there for awhile, looking out at the stars. It 
was amazing just how beautiful everything was. ::

:: I turn around in my chair to look at everyone that was in Ten 
Forward, it was an amazing crew, even if some of them _were_ just 
temporaries. ::

:: I notice that Ensign Ingoldo was still there but he was speaking 
with Ensign Redroi, I thought that I would go and say good-bye to him 
before I left. ::

Jade: "Ingoldo?"

:: Ingoldo turns around from where he was standing. ::

Ingoldo: "Yes, Jade."

Jade: "First of all, call me Crystal in Ten Forward, and second, I 
just wanted to say good-bye before I left."

Ingoldo: "That is kind of you, Crystal. You are not staying for 
dinner?"

Jade: "No, I like a more secluded environment, like my quarters or 
the holodeck for off-duty status. Thats why we all have our own 
replicators so that we don't have to come to Ten Forward unless we 
have too."

Ingoldo: "Okay, so are we still on for tomorrow morning?"

Jade: "Yes, how about nine hundred hours, in my office?"

Ingoldo: "That would be fine, I can't wait."

Jade: "You can't wait for a session? Wow, I wish everyone felt that 
away when they have to come see me."

Ingoldo: :: Smiles :: "Well, I might not feel like that afterwards."

Jade: "Well, I'll see you then, remember nine hundred hours, deck 
22. Have a good evening. Oh, by the way, next time have Baklava for 
dessert."

:: I leave Ten Forward, to return to my quarters. ::

:: I walk down the hallway, relieved that the day is almost over. ::

:: The door's to my quarters open. ::

Jade: "Computer, lights."

:: The lights come on and I notice that something was sitting on my 
coffee table. I approached it carefully, not sure what it was at 
first. ::

:: I sit down in my chair and turn the machine around. ::

Jade: "Oh my goodness, its an espresso machine, I can make my own 
latte's now. But who would come into my quarters, uninvited, and put 
it here. My own privacy, why not just give it to me in person."

Jade: =^= CDR Ford, this is Counselor Jade, could you please report 
to my quarters, I have had an intruder. =^=
