INGOLDO: I find it strange that you suppress your mental abilitys.

REDROI: Mental abilitys? :: Redroi is very suprised. :: What 
abilities are you talking about?

INGOLDO: You are not aware of your own abilities. How strange? Dusty 
do you not have a sense of the others around them? Like you almost 
know what they are feeling?

REDROI: Well actually, I have been told I seem to have a talent for
knowing 
how others are feeling, but I never really believed it. I never
really paid much 
attention to it. It's always been a sort of parlor game for me to try
and amaze 
my friends. For instance, :: turns to Koptuka :: Ensign--

KOPTUKA: Please call me Beth, Dusty. You were saying?

REDROI: :: smiles :: Beth, would you mind if I tried to sense your
feelings?

KOPTUKA: :: unsure of whether she wants that honor :: Well sure,

suppose that would be fine... ok, so what am I feeling?

REDROI: :: focuses inwardly, eyes closed :: You have a profound
desire to try 
new things. That's why you're here aboard the Excalibur.

KOPTUKA: Yes... :: eagerly waiting to hear more ::

REDROI: You tend to be self-conscious about your appearance when
you're 
around other species.

KOPTUKA: :: suddenly aware of her extremely bright red hair and
purple eyes, 
she flushes and her extra eyelids show themselves... :: uh... oh!

KOPTUKA: Oh, I know...! Of course not, I know it's my fault... I
always find

REDROI: I can't understand everything, with only empathic
abilities... for 
instance, I don't understand why the way you look is so shameful to
you.

KOPTUKA: I suppose I should talk to our ship's counselor about that.
