OFF - I hadn't envisioned Redroi blushing as much as some of the 
previous posts have indicated, but I am willing to go along for the

there is only Redroi & Ingoldo ::

REDROI: (Hm, I think Ensign Ingoldo is Betazoid. Wonder if he knew 
Mom's family?) Er, Excuse me Ensign...

INGOLDO: Yes, Ensign? I am rather busy at the moment.

REDROI: Yes, I know, I wondering if I could ask you a question? You 
are Betazoid, correct?

INGOLDO: ::Exasperated, he turns to Redroi:: Yes, I am. Why?

REDROI: Well, my mother's family is Betazoid, & I was curious to 
know if you might know any of them. My father never took me there, & 
I don't really know anything about my maternal family.

INGOLDO: Do you know from which house she is from?

REDROI: Yes, she was a member of the Third House, though she has 
been dead for over 25 years.

INGOLDO: _Third_ House? You are sure of this?

REDROI: Well, not positive, but I am pretty sure. Why?

INGOLDO: If that is correct, we are of the same House.

REDROI: Wow. Let me check with my pop. Wouldn't that be something 
if we are cousins, or some type of relation?

INGOLDO: ::Not too thrilled with the prospect:: Yes, it would.

REDROI: Sorry to bother you Ensign. I will let you return to your 
duties, as I need to return to mine. (Holy crow! After all these 
years, I find a Beta relative! I wonder what Pop will say? He was 
never one for discovering one's heritage.) Hmm, that's odd...

INGOLDO: Are you speaking to me?

REDROI: No, actually, just speaking out loud. =^= Redroi to the 
Captain =^=

MCCLOUD: =^= Go ahead, Dusty =^=

REDROI: =^= Sir, sensors indicate a shuttle approaching. Could be 
the rest of the crew =^=

MCCLOUD: =^= Thank you Ensign. I will be there shortly. McCloud out
