OFF: Well it's been quite a first mission. I guess we can start 
wraping this one up. If anyone has any suggestions on the next 
mission, please e-mail me with an outline. From here until the end 
of the month, please work on character developement. We need about 
12 posts to make 100 for this, our first full month. That would be a 
great accomplishment for a new ship. I know we can do it. Anyway, 
great job, one and all.

ON: {Captain's Readyroom}

::With Ingoldo found and the ship slowly returning to normal, Capt. 
McCloud reports to Command. He is at his desk, talking to Admiral 
Star, making his report and request for assistance to get to the 
nearest Starbase for repairs.::

Star: =^= So there was no damage to Memory Alpha?=^=

McCloud: =^= They got pretty shaken up, but there was no real 
damage.=^=

Star: =^= And these Gor'Gons?=^=

McCloud: =^= Well sir, I think we have seen the last of them for a 
while, at least. One of my crew, Commander Ford, was taken into 
their reality. I don't know if he will be back or not, but I have a 
gut feeling that he will return. I know that some of these creatures 
are among us. I don't think they pose a threat as they have been 
living as humans for so long.=^=

Star: =^= That's good news. You and your crew did an excellent job.
What about the Excalibur? She must be bad if you need to be towed 
in.=^= 

McCloud: =^= We took a lot of damage, sir. But she held together 
rather well. That and I have an great Chief Engineer. He's damn near 
as good as me.=^=

Star: =^= I knew I had to semd you someone good, and Myhon is 
definitely that. We're sending a tug to tow you into Starbase #17. 
It should rendezvous with you in about 20hours.=^= 

McCloud: =^= Will we be able to get a new warp core there? We may 
need one.=^=

Star: =^= They will have everything you might need. The facilities 
there will allow your crew a little r&r while the Excalibur is being 
refitted.=^=
=^=

McCloud: =^=Thank you sir, they deserve it. I've got one hell of a 
crew here.=^=

Star: =^= I hear that you are losing a couple of crewmen.=^=

McCloud: =^= Yes sir. As you know we lost Commander Ford to the 
Gor'gons. Ensign J'Dar had to leave the ship because of his 
physiology, he is heading to his homeworld in one of our shuttles. 
Ensign Stanford has a family emergency on Earth, and will be heading 
back there as soon as we can get him there.=^=

Star: =^= I'm sure you will be able to replace those crewmen, either 
at the Starbase, or Earth. I look forward to reading your full 
report. Star out.=^=

::McCloud sits back in his chair and thinks about the mission.(looks 
like I need to promote a few people.)

McCloud: "Computer, Capatins log. Stardate 42520.02. With the 
mission largely a success, please enter the following commissions 
and commendations. Ensign Ingoldo will be promoted to Lieutenant
(jg), Lieutenant(jg) Myhon will be promoted to Lieutenant, Ensign 
Jade will be promoted to Lieutenant(jg), and Ensign Redroi will be 
promoted to Lieutenant(jg). These promotions will go into affect 
before the start of our next mission. Note commendation for 
Commander Tolbin in her handling of the crew. Computer end log."

::McCloud looking to relax before the tug arrives goes to the 
replicator and orders "Scotch, neat" then, sits back down to go over
reports, and wonders just what the next mission will be.::
