:: Ingoldo is alone in the shuttle after Fords disappearance. The 
Gor'Gon's are heading back towards the remains of the vortex. As the 
shuttle is traveling at nearly full impulse he is slightly faster 
than the enemy. As their is some time before he is in weapons range 
he checks the sensor-readings regarding Fords disappearance. ::

Ingoldo: =^=Ingoldo to Excalibur.=^=
McCloud: =^=Go ahead Ensign.=^=
Ingoldo: =^=We are, or I should say I are on a intercept course with 
the Gor'Gon's.=^=
McCloud: =^=I are? Where are Commander Ford?=^=
Ingoldo: =^=He has been transported of the shuttle and his position 
is unknown. We were fired upon from the collapsing vortex with a beam 
of light and Commander Ford disappeared. The energy does not look 
like a Gor'Gon weapon as the energy signature is not the same.=^=
McCloud: =^=Send us the sensor logs and then engage the enemy.=^=
Ingoldo: =^=Aye Sir. Ingoldo out.=^=
::As the shuttle is within weapons range Ingoldo launches two quantum 
torpedos at the Gor'Gon and fires the phasers among them. As he close 
on the remaining vortex weapons fire from the vortex hits the few 
surviving Gor'Gons. The enemy is destroyed by the combined firepower 
from the shuttle and the vortex. As the collapse of the vortex is not 
complete Ingoldo fires a high energy pulse from the shuttles sensors 
to close the final gap of the anomality. As he is firing the sensors 
detect that someone on the either side does the same thing. As the 
vortex finally close a burst of subspace energy hits the shuttle. ::
Ingoldo: =^=Excalibur the vortex is closed. I am sending my sensor 
logs to you. =^=::Sends the strange readings to Excalibur. :: 
=^=However the shuttle is damaged by subspace energy as the vortex 
closed.=^=
McCloud: =^=Are you in need of assistance?=^=
Ingoldo: =^=Yes, however you will not be able to reach me in time. I 
must try a emergency landing at Memory Alpha. Almost everything is 
damaged or malefunction on the craft. =^=

McCloud: =^=Hang on Ensign.=^=
