OFF: Okay, miss ya'lls post, when ya'll get time, I would love to 
read something from someone in this group. 

ON:

LOCATION: {Sick Bay}

:: I am still lying in bed in sick bay, wondering if I would ever get 
out, and back to work. I know that there are going to be alot of 
people that need me right now, and I am here stick in bed. ::

Jade: "Dr. Kelley, am I ever going to get out of here?"

Kelley: "Yes, of course!"

Jade: "Well when?"

Kelley: "I'm not sure yet, I will have to wait and let Dr. Fredricks 
evaluate you before we can just release you."

Jade: "But I am feeling better."

Kelley: "I'm sure you do, you have alot of pain medicine in your 
system right now." :: She gets this hugh smile on her face, almost 
to a giggle. ::

Jade: "Oh, I see, no wonder I feel so good right now!" :: I wink at 
her. ::

:: She begins to giggle. ::

Kelley: "As soon as Dr. Fredricks can get back to Sick Bay, I will 
ask her to take a look at you, but to be honest Counselor, you are 
under alot of pain medicine now, and we haven't even tried to get you 
out of that bed yet."

Jade: "Well I can feel my body again, I don't think anything will 
hinder me from doing what I need to do."

Kelley: "I understand that you are getting tired of being here, but 
you went under alot, and we almost lost you a few times, your body is 
just now trying to get back to normal. Well will just have to see 
what the Dr. Fredricks says, we will need to take you off the 
medicine or at least most of it, and also try to get you out of bed 
and walking. We are unsure of how your muscles will act now, they 
went through alot, so we have to make sure that you can walk fine. 
We want you to be able to walk out of here with no problem, and even 
if you are still in pain, well you can always come back to Sick Bay 
and someone will always be here, to help you out. But lets worry 
about getting you to walk first, okay."

Jade: "Okay." :: I turn away from her, I was unsure about how 
everything was going, I could move my legs but not very much before 
my muscles would begin to contract. ::

Kelley: "Everything will be fine, we have the best medical staff in 
the Fleet, we will take care of you and you will be back to 
counseling people before you know it."

Jade: :: I turn back to her. :: "Okay, thanks. You know when I 
signed up for the Excalibur, and I left Earth, I wasn't expecting to 
be confronted by an alien who wanted to destroy me because someone 
has a little crush on me."

Kelley: "Well, we all have problems with our loved ones family!" :: 
She winks at me this time. ::

Jade: :: I giggle slightly. :: "_Loved_ ones, I never said that I 
love him, or that he loved me!"

Kelley: "I know, but who knows!" 

:: And before I could say anything Kelley says ::

Kelley: "Well I have some work I need to do, I will check in on you 
in a little while."

:: She turns and walks out of the room. ::

:: The doors open from Sick Bay and in walks First Officer Tolbin. ::

Tolbin: "Counslor when are you going to get out of here?"

Jade: "I don't know, but if you can put some pressure on the 
Doctors, maybe they will let me out quicker."

Tolbin: "I see. Do you think that you can work alright?"

Jade: "I need to get back to work CDR, I have alot of people on this 
ship that needs me, and I can't do my job laying her in this bed."

Tolbin: "Have you discussed this with Dr. Fredricks?"

Jade: "She hasn't been around, she has been very busy with others 
around the ship. Dr. Kelley has been great, and helping me alot."

Tolbin: "Well what does Dr. Kelley say?"

Jade: "She says that she has to wait for Dr. Fredricks first."

Tolbin: "I see."

Jade: "Listen CDR Tolbin, I need to get back to work, I can't stand 
this, do you know that I haven't had a latte in days, I'm dying 
here!!!!"

OFF: Okay...Some pick it up, and write something, I am dying to hear 
how the mission is going to work out. I would love to hear from some 
of the people who haven't written in a while!!
