OFF: Hey you guys are doing great, Keep it up.
Sorry, the first post# 101 that I wrote was not right. I missed Mr. 
Fords post #92 where he left the ship. Commander Tolbin brought it 
to my attention. So here is the rewrite. 
Hope you like it, Number One.

ON: {Bridge, Uss Excalibur}

::McCloud watches as Ingoldo looks for a way to stop cmdr. Ford from 
destroying himself and the shuttle.::

McCloud: " Ingoldo can we get a tractor beam on that shuttle?"

Ingoldo: "I can sir, but if it blows before we can stop it, the 
Excalibur will be destroyed."

McCloud: "Understood. Get to it."

Ingoldo: "Aye Sir."

McCloud: "J'dar patch me thruogh to the shuttle."

J'Dar: "Aye sir. Your on Captain."

McCloud: =^= Cmdr. Ford listen to me, it's the Captain. This is 
foolhardy. What do you think you'll accomplish by doing this?"

Ford: =^=I know what I'm doing Sir, just let me do it. I can save 
the crew and the ship. You must let me try.=^=

McCloud: =^=Jonathon, it's suicide. We're stronger with you than 
without you. Think man, you know these beings. We can use that to 
our advantage. What if, what you plan to do fails? What then? We 
have a great crew, and together we can overcome anything. You are a 
part of this crew. And as your Captain and your friend, I asking you 
to stand down, bring the shuttle back to the ship.=^=

::Ford thinks over the Captains words and realizes that he has never 
felt like a part of a crew before, part of a family. For the first 
time in his life he is happy with what he has become. He thinks of 
Jade, and how his feelings for her have grown over this short period 
of time. He thinks about how the rest of the crew looks up to him as 
a leader. Yes, he could take matters into his own hands, but will it 
definately work? He finds that he is unsure.::

McCloud: =^=Jonathon? can you hear....=^=

Ford: =^=Captain, I hear you. I will stand down.=^=

McCloud: =^= Good man. Now get back here with my shuttle and then 
get your butt back to the bridge. We'll meet in my readyroom when 
you get here and you can tell me what you know about these aliens.=^=

Ford: =^=Aye sir, I'm on my way.=^=

::Ford stops the core meltdown and weapons overload and heads for 
the Excalibur. He brings the shuttle in through the hole in the bay 
doors and lands. As he heads for the bridge, he smiles to himself.(I 
guess I've finally found a home here on the Excalibur. And a family 
who needs me. How can I let these people down?)

OFF: Ok Ford is safe. Let's see just what he knows about these 
aliens and how he is connected to them.
