Started at Starfleet Academy after parents died at the age of 32. Studied in Astrophysics, Quantum Physics, Plasma Physics, Thermodynamics, Geology, Chemistry, Astrometrics, all this for my Science degree. Then moving on to Command School which I was in the top ten of my class. While at the Academy I had a few accidents that prolonged my career as a cadet. I was known as the clumsy one till I met my friend Steve McCloud. We became fast friends and he taught me how to use a Bat'Leth for one thing and how to not be so clumsy.

My first Star ship position was on the Patriot as the Chief Science Officer. She is a Nebula Class ship and has seen her bit of action. I was then asked to come to the Excalibur just a few weeks back. That the fleet has been hurt from the Borg and the Dominion wars they are working on getting out new ships.
