GENERAL BACKGROUND:
Gabriel Left home after a big altercation with his younger brother Jack. Since that day Gabriel had only a hand full of information on Jack. Approximately 4 years before Jack joined, Gabriel joined starfleet. He grew tired of it over time. He had trouble with countless post including his last post DS9. There he butted heads with constable ODO on many occasions. He resigned shortly after his transfer to DS9 and joined a rouge group known as the "Maquis". After the break up with the Maquis he went into hiding...nearly falling off the face of the universe.
His travels took him from planet to planet. He lived in some of the most disdain places. He became a fighter. Where most fought for money or prestige...he fought for survival.
PRE STARFLEET:
Gabriel spent most of his adolescence taking care of Jack. Jack couldn't stand that. Gabriel resented his parents but the reason is quiet unknown. With that resentment and the force protection of his brother left a gap in his relationship with his brother. A few years later bad came to worse and Gabriel and Jack got into a fight that resulted in an emergency room visit. Gabriel left his home.
Starfleet:
A few years after He left he started to clean up his act. He found a woman and even got accepted to starfleet. He went through as a weapons specialist. Shortly after graduation he was posted on the USS Avalon, where he retained the rank of Ensign. After a few years he was promoted to the rank of Lt.jg., but his wife died from unknown causes. Gabriel went into depression. AFter that he was transferred to 4 different ships in a matter of 2 years. He received disciplinary action after disciplinary action until he was finally demoted back down to Ensign. He transferred to DS9 and still things only got worse. He one day found a cause worth fighting for and resigned from starfleet and joined the maquis where is skills as a weapons specialist came in handy. He is excellent with all weapons and weapons systems. He's quick to adapt to alien technology.
Maquis:
Right after his resigning from Starfleet he joined the maquis. This was finally a good cause. He learned a lot about hiding in space and put his knowledge of weapon systems to good use. While in he would make friends only to find they would die within weeks. This started to make him edgy and harden him. Eventually the Maquis disbanded.
After Maquis:
Gabriel went into hiding. He was wanted by starfleet for being part of the maquis. But after a couple of years starfleet didn't care about them anymore. He went from planet to planet. He learned to fight for survival. He mastered the art of hiding and running but most importantly...fighting. He never spends more than 2 years on any giving planet. His last where abouts are unknown.
He was granted permission to stage aboard the USS Excalibur in exchange for his services as a weapons specialist. Recently given a field promotion to Lt to fill the open security position. \\End of File\\
