I was born in Madison, Indiana on May 31, 1966. I moved to Tennessee when I was about three years old. At the age of six my family decided to move to Phoenix, Arizona. While there my little sister Kristina was born. We eventually decided to move back to Tennessee. I used to visit my family in Indiana each summer which was sometimes fun and sometimes not so fun.
Before I graduated from high school I had already joined the U.S. Navy's delayed entry program. I left for active duty four months after that. God only knows how I've lasted this long or how I got in to Naval Post Graduate School but I'm here and making the best of it.
