Prologue
Ara Williams slowly walked through the streets that were littered with paper and debris of buildings.A craft flew over her head causing her to rise an eyebrow at how low it was.It landed several yards infront of her and she stopped. All her life she would get feelings in her stomach.Something was about to go down and she didn't like the way it fealt.A short man dressed all in black, who looked to be in his mid seventies, stepped out.He slowly walked towards her,his head bowed to look at the ground as he walked. He stopped about a foot infront of her,and his dark brown eyes bore into hers.
"The government has requested to speak with you."He told her.
Aras bad feeling got worse and she fealt like she was about to vomit. The man stared long and hard at her before she spoke.
"Why?"Her voice betrayed her as it was laced with fear.
"Come."He said, turning on his heel and walking towards the craft.
Ara swallowed hard before fallowing the man.
Aras eyebrow rose once again that day as the craft flew away from the building that housed part of the government. The ride of silence was inturrupted almost an hour later when Aras shreik peirced the air.The craft was headed straight down into the ground of a valley. What she thought was solid ground. The valley turned into a swirl of blue, black, and purple. The colors mingled together than seperated, never mixing. The craft went straight into the swirl before hovering over solid ground. It was like another dimension.Ara stared awestruck outside of her window. The 'phssssssh' of the door rising up awoke Ara from her shock, but barely. She stepped out of the craft, and fallowed the man in black as he motioned to her.She walked threw the halls made of dirt, turning every which way once in awhile. She turned into a hall with the walls made of stone, and the floor went from dirt to rocks that were embedded, and even, with cement.Every two feet or so was a lantern on the walls, going down as far as she could see.She had a feeling that this was not the government, and her stomach turned worse. They passed a group of people who were immediately silent once they looked at her,and for a few breif seconds she fealt strangely like an outsider. The man in black led her into the doorway of a room. The walls were made of stone still, but on the far back wall was seven circles that formed a circle around a different color. Each circle was a different color. The floor looked almost like coated wood, but it was peach-ish and shiney. She fallowed the man in black into the room.Ara didn't know why she was still here. She could run..leave..but she didn't.For some reason once she entered this room she fealt safe.In the center of the room were seven squares of different colors which formed a cricle.Once again,in the center of that circle was another square. The man led her to the side of the room where a desk with two chairs stood. The desk was covered with piles after piles of papers. He ushered to the seat infront of the desk, while he took the one behind it.
"Hello Ara.My name is Robert."He said extending his hand.
Ara reached forward hesitantly and shook his hand.
"How did you know my name?"She asked.
"All in time,Ara.All in time. Now I need to explain something to you..."He trailed off,his eyes once again boring into hers.
Ara nodded her head,a slight pang of that stomach pain coming back for just a breif second.Robert took a deep breath, folding his hands ontop of the desk.
"Have you ever heard someone elses thoughts?Ever made things happen with your mind?"He asked.
"No.I wish."Ara laughed nervously, wondering where this was going.
"Ever seen things?Like..auras around people?Around yourself?"He asked.
Aras heart sped up as she quickly remembered something that happened three years ago.Shock overtook her for a split second before she calmly answered
"No."
"It's all about honesty,Ara.I saw what you saw..inside your mind.Even if it was just in the mirror, you still saw it."He grinned.
"What?"Ara croaked.
"What color was it?"Robert asked, not bothering to repeat himself for her.
Ara was silent as she stared at the man. What the hell was going on?
"Blue."She muttered.
"That's right.Ara..look at that wall."He said pointing to his left,to the far back wall.
Ara looked up and scanned the wall, only seeing what she already saw before. The circles. She was about to look away when she saw the blue circle lit up with an intense blue light filtering out.
"So?"She asked slowly.
"Ara..if you stepped out of this room, that blue light would diminish. If you stepped back in,and I mean, the very SECOND that any of your body parts entered into this room..even a finger, that blue light would light up again."
"I don't understand."
"What color is your aura,Ara?"He asked.
"Bl.."That part clicked for her,"Okay,so..alright.Well..why does it do it for me?Why..I just don't understand this. Why am I here?"
Robert smiled smally before taking a deep breath.
"Ara..have you ever heard of something called..a prophecy?
