Chapter 6
A week and a half had passed sence Aras encounter with a Kalzer.She was still in an acoma,and the elders took turns trying to build up her walls.Usually they would leave it for when she awoke,but time was wearing thin.
Brian had awoken a few days ago,and he spent his time rebuilding the few walls that had broken,and he rested a lot.He started reading the old testaments today.No one had talken to him about the Kalzer,in which he was glad for.He didn't want to believe it.He didn't want to know what he knew of it.He guessed they would talk about it when Ara awoke.
Nick,being the only one strong enough,and the only one on that level of power,had tryed searching through many planets to find the two remaining Ralmgahis.It was harder though,without the feeling that Ara got in the pit of her stomach.He had no luck.
With what AJ had seen of what had happened to his friend,he had started working ten times harder on the task at hand.He was growing stronger by the seconds,and though the Elders were upset that the Kalzer had broken down two of their students,they were happy that it had worken to their advantage when it came to AJ.
Matt,the man with the orange aura,was shocked to say the least.He was gradually becoming stronger,and opening himself and his mind up to all things related to the Ralmgahi.Beleiveing in it,he had no problem.He knew what he saw and what he fealt was real.
Nick retreated to Aras room,sensing her awakeness.He had just returned from another pointless journey to another planet.He knew that they needed Aras feeling in order to do this.
He slowly walked into the room,and met Aras eyes.Her eyes were a darker green,and seemed to be clouded over.Her brown hair fell in light curls to her shoulders,some strands plastered to her face in sweat.Her full pouty lips were chapped,and a dull light pink.Her slender hands clutched at the blanket.
"Hey..how ya feelin'?"Nick asked.
"Okay.Most my walls are rebuilt.."
"Yeah.The elders."Nick said,brushing a strand of her hair aside.
"Oh.How long has it been?"
"About a week and a half."
Ara sat up,only to be pushed gently down again by Nick.
"Rest Ara."
"I've had enough of resting."She exclaimed.
"No,you haven't.You went through one hell of a beat down.Every single wall was broken."
"Nick,"She whispered softly,her voice filled with fear,"It was so bad.It was so evil,and dark.I can still feel it.I can still feel the presence of it."
"So can I.When it happened to you,it happened to me.I guess 'cause..we're connected and all,"Nick said,running his finger over the black in her aura,"and I know it wasn't as bad as what you went through,but it was still bad."
"Their so strong Nick.We'll never beat them."
"Yes we will,we just have to get even more stronger."Nick said softly,resting his hand against her cheek.
"How's Bri?"She asked.
"He's alright.Real quite though."Nick said,lightly brushing his thumb over the side of her lips.
"I want to go see him."
"Alright.Don't use any of your powers."He told her,grabbing her hand.
Ara opened her eyes a few seconds later.Brian jumped,slightly startled at a new presence.He turned and looked at Ara and Nick.He smiled slightly,walking towards them.Ara embraced him in a hug.
'Are you okay?'Brian asked.
'Yeah.I will be.What about you?'
'I'm alright..'
Ara pulled away from the hug,just as Robert appeared next to her.
"Ara,I'm glad you awoke."
"So am I."Ara replied.
"Let's go to the Great room,shall we?"He asked,eyeing Ara,Nick,and Brian.
They all nodded their reply and dissapeared.Ara re-appeared sitting at a table next to AJ and Nick.AJ jumped,slightly startled.
"Should have known it was you.You're always creeping up on me."AJ smiled.
Ara shrugged and smiled back.
"Ara?"A man asked from across the table.
"Yeah?"She asked.
"My name is Matt.I want to thank you for saving me."
"It was no pro-"
"Everyone."Jeff inturrupted.
Everyones attention turned towards the Elder.
"We have a few things to discuss.First off,Ara.Nick has been searching many different planets in hope to bring back the remaining two members of the prophecy.He has not been able to do so,though.It's basically hopeless without your..feeling.So,we all have agreed to give you two more days to rest and rebuild.We would give you more time,but time isn't something we have.If you feel at any time before the two days time period is up that you can continue on without all that time,than please notify us.We'll be more than happy to know.Next thing to talk about is Brian.Now,this is more of a personal problem for three people at this table,but seeing as we are all in this together,most of all the five of you,it's a personal problem for all of us.One of us Elders found something about four days after the incident,when going through your mind,and rebuilding walls.Brian,I think you know what I'm talking about."Jeff spoke.
Brian shifted uncomfortably in his chair.
"Ye-"He cleared his throut,"Yes,I do."
"Well..go on then."Jeff said,folding his hands on the table.
Brian played nervously with his pant leg.
"Um..well..it's uh,it's about the Kalzers."
Nick fealt a chill run down his back,remembering how he fealt.He noticed Ara shiver slightly.
"What about them?"Ara asked,her voice coming out in a whisper.
"Well..um,well see..the one that attacked us,well..Ara and Matt.."Brian trailed off.
"Just spit it out Rok."Nick said,finding himself on the edge of his seat.
"It was Kevin."
