Chapter 11
AN:Okay,this is where some Italian language comes in.I had the 'bright' idea to add some things in Italian for them to translate and all,and because of the fact that I don't speak/know Italian-I used a translator.So not all the Italian words will mean the EXACT same thing in English,but I will tell you what I meant in English form so..no worries.
Ara appeared in the Dinner room to find everyone talking and relaxing after their meal.Nick was anxiously awaiting her arrival,knowing that she found something.Ara sensed his emotion and glanced at him,giving him a small smile.
"Anyone know any languages besides English?"Ara asked.
All heads turned her way and a few people responded with 'Yes','I do',and 'Me'.Matt,however,was the first to approach her,so she handed him the paper.He smiled,recognizing the language.His face soon drained of color after he read it.
"Uh-oh."AJ muttered,examining Matts facial expressions.
"What does it say?"Brian asked softly,almost not wanting to know.
Matt cleared his throut,and turned to face everyone.
"Un amico di nerezza unirà la luce che crea un fuoco nella notte una dovrà pagare la vita avversione che fa un altro tranne il loro destino."
"In English!"Tony exclaimed.
Tony was the man with the purple aura that Ara had retrieved on their last attempt to find someone.He took awhile to open up because one,he wasn't sure he believed it,and two,he was gay and was afraid of everyones reactions.They accepted it just fine,and no one made any comments about his choice in sex.Well,except AJ once,when he commented how is aura was purple and how he was gay.He found that alittle funny,but it wasn't really making fun of him.
"A friend of darkness will join the light-Creating a fire in the night-One will have to pay life for hate-Which makes another except their fate."Matt read again.
The room was silent for a few minutes,most thinking over the third line.
"So,what exactly does that mean?"Brian asked.
"It means..that someones going to die,and we have to bust out the fire extinguishers."AJ said.
"Maybe a fire is going to happen at night,and someone is going to be burned alive."Tony said.
"Yeah,but what about the first and last line?"Nick asked,eyeing Ara.
She was scaring him lately.He hadn't fealt any good emotions from her in the past week or so except for her excitement when she found that paper.Now it was back to the reguluar sadness but with a mix of confusion and terror.
"Maybe it means that some newcomer is going to come and start a fire in the night which is going to kill one of us,but that was that persons fate anyways."Matt said softly.
"What about the hate part?"Brian asked,looking towards the Elders.
Them and Ara had been the only people to not speak,and he wasn't sure if it was from surprise,knowing something they didn't,or something else.
"Ara,where did you find this?"Jeff asked.
"In a book."She responded in a whisper.
It took AJ a few times of playing her words over and over in his head to know what she had said.
"Why in the hell did they put it in a book?"AJ asked.
Silence ensued for about a minute after his question,untill Nick decided to answer.
"Ya know the people that predict shit and all?Well,they probally knew we would look through that section of the book and would find it."He said,looking at Ara.
Ara met his gaze and wondered if he knew about her.She figured he did with the connection thing they shared and all.She disapeared to go read through that book some more,and Nick fallowed her.
